Story
PUMPKIN IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Pumpkin is a big, beautiful Mastiff mix who is about one year old and weighs around 115 pounds. She’s a loving, playful girl who enjoys treats and spending time outside. Pumpkin can be a little shy at first, so her adopters will need to be patient and give her time to feel comfortable. Once she warms up, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. She is crate trained and housebroken, and she walks well on a leash. Pumpkin enjoys walks around the neighborhood and trips to the park. After a day of fun, she’s happiest snuggling on the couch with her people. Despite her big size, Pumpkin is calm, quiet, and gentle — the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and loving friend. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Pumpkin up north to her new family. You can apply to adopt her today!     If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Pumpkin here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
This guy has a story let me tell ya. His name is pronounced Mah-zi and means "lucky". Well he's sure lucky that somebody had the good sense to dump him in our town so that we could become his new tribe. Mazi was lovingly owned and lives in Chicopee Mass but his owner had to move and couldn't secure housing for them. He rehomed him to an older gentleman in Springfield Mass. In the span of six months, Mazi found himself dumped in CT. We did recon with his microchip and got the scoop. So now he's looking for his forever home, and preferably no dumping this poor dog. He's already been thru enough. Mazi is good with docile female dogs his size. He's a little mouthy so only older kids until he settles in and gets his bearings. We are under the impression that his mouthiness is from stress in the kennel. He loves car rides and walks. You could take him everywhere but he's strong on a leash. We will help to teach you how to walk him and use training techniques. He's not cat tested but we'd say, um no. He's getting fully vetted on 9/15/26. He can go home two days later. Story
Meet Baxter! Baxter was surrendered and asked to be picked up by ACO when he was just 5 months old. He just turned 2 years old this month. His family said they no longer wanted him because “he wasn’t getting big enough” He’s been with his foster ever since, no fault of his own as a different rescue committed to him and left him behind. Baxter is simply the best and is so deserving of a family of his own. He is high energy and loves to play, he will do great with a family that has older kids. He’s is always ready for an adventure or a hike and then a snuggle session. He LOVES toys especially his jumbler ball. Just make sure to always keep some backups on hand in case needed 😅 he loves running and jumping in the air. Baxter will keep you laughing with his goody antics and joy of everything! He is great with dogs and just wants to play. Who can resist a happy holiday adventurous loving boy like Baxter?! Baxter is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
Spring is here- a time for new beginnings. Stella is hoping and praying for a new family to love. Stella is a beautiful and regal Mastiff & Pittie mix who has a beautiful brindle coat and is 3 years old and fully grown at 75 pounds. She lost her home when her owner had to move and couldn't take her so she's now living with a great Foster Mom in Suffolk County. She has been practicing her obedience commands and retrieving skills with a Trainer and is doing great! She LOVES to retrieve and her foster mom was surprised to find out she also loves to take a bath. She's easy to live with because she she has a low to medium energy level. Like most Mastiffs, Stella has a low-medium energy level. All she needs is someone to throw her ball for her for 15 minutes once or twice a day, the rest of the time she'll bask in the sun outside, or lay beside you and watch tv. She's very well-mannered and highly intelligent and fully housebroken. Stella is calm, polite and gentle AND her size and imposing appearance will make you feel very safe. Stella's ideal home would have a fenced yard so she can play and lounge in the sun to her heart's desire. She'd be happy as an only dog or with a large mellow male dog. Due to her larger size we'd suggest kids be over 12 years old. Reach out to Wendy (doberesq@verizon.net) to get more info on Stella!

Story
Welcome Barron to CCPAL Rescue. Barron is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Barron is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Barron would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. He would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Barron’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. He should be 60 pounds full grown. He likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. He will go on a potty pad. He is good with other dogs bigger than himself. His dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. He energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. He has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. He has longer hair a little more like the GP momma. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. He is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for his forever home soon. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!
