Story
Meet Mystery! 5 years old | Mastiff/APBT Mix | 81 lbs This absolute sweetheart has never met a stranger. In fact, when she sees someone she likes (which is pretty much everyone), her whole body starts wiggling so hard you’d think she’s doing the hula dance! Her tail never seems to stop, and she’s always ready to greet people with her signature full-body wiggles and silly smile. And if you spend any time with Mystery, you’ll quickly learn that she has plenty to say! This girl is very vocal and loves sharing her opinions, stories, and excitement with the people around her. Whether she’s greeting visitors, asking for attention, or simply joining the conversation, there’s truly never a dull moment with Mystery around! Mystery came to FCAC after being left behind when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Because of her size, the family she was staying with wasn’t able to keep her, so she’s now looking for a forever home of her own. Sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented Full-body wiggles included Friendly and social Very vocal and expressive Loves being with her people Mystery appreciates having her personal space respected. She can be a little selective about dogs that get right up in her face or crowd her, so we recommend proper introductions and believe she'd do best with a laid back, submissive dog or as the only dog in the home. She also met the office cat here at FCAC and did very well, simply sniffing and moving on! Since we don’t know her full history with cats, proper introductions and supervision are always recommended. We’re also still learning about how she does with children, so a meet-and-greet with all household members is encouraged. As Mystery settles in, we’ll continue updating her bio as we learn more about this lovable, talkative, wiggly girl.   Spayed, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.  Adoption fee is $100.  If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day. We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    See all of our adoptable pets here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/adoptable-dogs-and-cats   Adoption Hours Monday & Saturday 11am-4pm Tuesday & Friday 11am-5pm Wednesday 11am-6pm Thursday & Sunday CLOSED ##2745573##

Story
Henry is a handsome 2-year-old Malamute mix with a big heart to match his big, fluffy frame! At around 75 pounds, this lovable guy is full of personality, affection, and just the right amount of goofiness.Henry is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and already has great manners—he’s both crate trained and house trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. He enjoys having his own cozy space and settles in well with routine.Because Henry thrives on attention and prefers to be the center of his person’s world, he’s looking for a home where he can be the only dog. He hasn’t been tested with cats or young children, and due to his size and enthusiasm (he doesn’t quite realize how big he is!), a home with no children or older, dog-savvy kids would be the best fit.Henry would do wonderfully with someone who appreciates a larger breed and can give him the love, structure, and companionship he deserves. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, affection, and plenty of tail wags.❤️

Story
We adopted Darky from the humane Society almost 1.5 years ago. They warned us he has behavior issues. Mainly he cannot get along with other dogs. We never planned on getting a second dog so we didn’t think it would be an issue. We live in a small apartment. When Darky gets the zoomies he runs all over literally bouncing off the walls. I wish we had a yard. We’ve tried taking them to the dog park. But we have to leave if another dog shows up. If he ever sees another dog, he flips out. I’m the only one who can take him on walks. I’m the only one who’s strong enough. My wife has gotten hurt many times trying to take him on walks, and he can literally drag my son. He acts like a great wonderful dog until he sees another dog, and then you better be ready for it because he flips out. When we’re in the apartment and it’s just us and him. He’s wonderful. He’s quiet and very well potty trained. I wish I could get a house. And a yard for him. But I’m still several years, off from that.
