Story
Hello! I'm Mystery! I am 5 years old and possibly a Mastiff-APBT mix? I weigh in at 88#. I came to FCAC after I was left behind by my previous owner at a friends home. Because of my large size, they couldn't keep me with them.   I am overall friendly and social. I do prefer to be where my people are. I was previously around a few other dogs, but I can be a bit selective of the dogs I like in my space.  I did meet the office cat at FCAC and we just sniffed each other and went on our way. I'm not able to tell the girls here if I've been around any in my past or not; so proper introductions and watching, will always be needed when introducing us!    I can't tell them if I've been around kids or not either. A meet and greet with all household family members will be needed, if you are interested in me!!   Since I'm new here, my bio will be added to as staff learns more about me each day!    Spayed, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $100   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day. We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    See all of our adoptable pets here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/adoptable-dogs-and-cats   Adoption Hours Monday & Saturday 11am-4pm Tuesday & Friday 11am-5pm Wednesday 11am-6pm Thursday & Sunday CLOSED ##2745573##

Story
LOKI: GOD OF MISCHIEF, PROFESSIONAL VELCRO DOG, AND CERTIFIED GIANT BABY When Loki was adopted as a puppy, everyone thought he would grow into a majestic giant. And he did. What nobody realized was that he'd also grow into a giant who believes his people should remain within petting distance at all times. Loki recently returned to rescue after struggling with separation anxiety. His family experienced some big changes when both his favorite human friend and his dog buddy moved out of the home, and the loss of his daily companions made his anxiety much worse. Being left alone became incredibly stressful for him, and he had a hard time coping. But here's the thing: Loki isn't a bad dog. He's actually a sweet, goofy, affectionate mastiff mix who loves his people with every ounce of his oversized 92lb body. He forms strung bonds, wants to be included in everything, and is happiest when he's surrounded by those he loves. Loki is looking for a home that understands his needs and is committed to helping him continue to build confidence. A family with patience, consistency, and plenty of companionship would be ideal. He'd thrive with people who are home often and willing to help him learn that being alone isn't so scary. As a bonus, this gentle giant is good with other dogs, good with cats, and has never met a couch he didn't think was made specifically for him. If you've ever wanted a shadow the size of a small horse, a snuggle buddy with zero concept of personal space, and a dog who will love you with his whole heart, Loki might be your perfect match! Apply today at wagsandwigglesfw.com to meet the dog who believes that friendship isn't just important - it's a full-time job. Loki is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

Story
Available beginning 6/24/26   Hi, I'm Stoney! 2 years old | APBT/Mastiff mix | 65 lbsI have one blue eye, one brown eye, and a whole lot of personality packed into one handsome package! I'm the kind of guy who's just as happy carrying around a squeaky toy as I am lounging on the couch next to my favorite people. My previous family described me as outgoing, curious, protective, and loyal, and I'd have to agree. I enjoy spending time with my humans, soaking up attention, and being part of whatever's going on. Some of my favorite things include: Squeaky toys Rope toys Hanging out with my people Playing outside A comfy spot to nap afterward I'm potty trained, affectionate, playful, and always up for spending time with the people I love. A few important things to know about me: I need a home without cats. Cats just aren't my thing.  I've lived with other dogs before, but I can be selective about my canine friends. I've reportedly done better with female dogs and haven't been a fan of male dogs in the past. I'm also not a fan of sharing my food with other dogs. I prefer my space, please! I've never lived with children before, so we can't say for certain how I'd do. However, we think I'd likely do best with older, respectful kids who understand dog boundaries and are introduced properly. I'm not a big fan of chaos, yelling, or lots of commotion. I'd much rather be part of a home where I can relax, feel secure, and enjoy life with my people. Like most young dogs, I could benefit from some continued training and guidance, but I've got a lot of potential and an even bigger heart. If you're looking for a loyal guy with striking eyes, a sweet personality, and plenty of love to give, I might just be your perfect match.   Neutered, Heartworm and Lyme negative, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.  Adoption fee is $100   Interested in meeting and possibly adopting? Please start by submitting an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once we receive your application, a staff member will review it during open hours. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! If you have other dogs at home, they must attend the meet & greet as well. If it's a good fit, you can take your new best friend home the same day!    We also offer a 2-week foster-to-adopt trial period to ensure it's the right match for everyone!
