Hi, I`m Proteus!90#MY ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED!I am a gentle soul, looking for a safe place to call my own. I`ve only had one other home before coming to the shelter, so the transition into this loud, unpredictable place has been difficult for me. Thankfully I slowly began to trust the people I`ve met here, and am learning to trust them! That being said, it may take me a bit to warm up to my new family. Once I do I am a sweet, gentle older guy, who enjoys naps on the couch and gentle pets. I would be a good companion for someone that enjoys slow strolls through the park, or I could just snuggle beside you while you read your favorite book. I can coexist with other dogs, but am not particularly looking for a playful friend. My ideal home would have people aged teenagers or up.
