Hercules loves children! He’s very playful, loves people in general. He loves cuddling and being the spotlight. He’s growing fast and loves his food! I just really want him to be in a loving home that he can get the attention he needs! Story
Enid is about four years old and, without reading ahead, go ahead and guess what specific breeds she is. There are five! Drumroll, please... Enid is bull mastiff, Neapolitan mastiff, German shepherd, cane corso, and labrador retriever! All of those in 70 pounds of cuteness. Enid loves laying in the grass, playing fetch (but not so much bringing the item back to you), chewing on sticks, sleeping on her back, getting belly rubs, riding in cars, and hanging out with her people. She is also a fan of playing in water from the hose or in a kiddie pool. However, don't ask Enid to step outside to potty in the rain unless you're willing to go out with her! She is super smart and already knows sit, shake, down, place, kennel, come, look at me, through the legs, and wait (for food). Squeaky toys will motivate her; toys, not as much. Go figure! Because Enid is such a smarty pants, keeping her mind busy helps to keep her out of mischief. While she can't do crossword puzzles, she is really good at snuffle mats, lick mats, and peanut butter stuffed Kongs! If you're looking for a super snuggly, Velcro pooch, Enid is not that. She's fairly independent but will seek out pets and attention. She also likes to sleep in her human's bed sometimes, if she's not napping in her own dog bed. Do you think Enid might be the peas to your carrots? The jelly to your peanut butter? Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more info! She's in the KC metro, but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
Archer, our friend from City of Raytown Animal Services, got his first pup cup a few days ago. He wasn't sure what this small cup of goodness was and whether it was really for him??? It wasn't long before he politely dove right in. Afterward, he enjoyed a nice Sunday walk in one of our local parks. He was polite, didn't pull hard on his leash, and was happy to meet new friends on his day out. Archer is an amazing tan neutered male mastiff. He's around 5 years old and 85 pounds. Archer's in the sweet spot of dogs -- not a puppy but he's for sure not an old man. He's old enough to know better and young enough to have many adventures! He is not a fan of cats or high-energy dogs. He wants to Netflix and chill and take a walk on a nice day. He doesn't have a lot of demands, aside from a loving home. If you're interested in meeting this great boy, call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387. Archer is in the Kansas City metro, but transport's available to the right home!

Story
We`ve all seen the little velvet hippo dogs on social media. With this girl, you get more for your money! Cookie Marie is a big beautiful senior lady who lost her home through no fault of her own. This sweetheart gives the best snuffleupagus kisses to her volunteer friends and would love to share some snuggles with you.In her former home, she was reported to be completely house-trained and she knows several commands. She has also lived with young dogs of varying sizes and elementary-age children. She has decided that sharing space with a cat is not for her, so a cat-free home is at the top of her wish list. While at the shelter, she`s been a quiet, shy girl, visiting with other gentle pups in morning playgroups. She would love to meet any potential fur siblings and our shelter staff will help with introductions to ensure that everyone gets along. There are so many advantages to adopting a senior dog. They are generally calm and settled, with that lovely mature energy that we all can appreciate. There is very little more rewarding in life than providing that safe, loving home for a dog who would be most grateful to spend the rest of their life in comfort.Cookie Marie is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Cookie Marie is living in a foster home. If you would like to meet her please email foster@kcpetpoint.org

Story
This is Bentley, he is a sweet, loveable puppy. I am devastated I am not able to keep him. Bentley is a Bandog which is a mix between a bulldog and mastiff. He is extremely loyal and a fantastic watch dog. He loves, stuffed animals, toys and bones. He loves walks, and playing outside. He enjoys time with his sister, who is a cat. He would like a home that does not require too much time in a kennel. Bentley is smart and wants lots of love.
