Reeses is a sweet, intelligent young man who would love a forever home with someone who is willing to teach him all the ways of being a good boy! He is just over 12 weeks old, so he's still learning new things everyday. He loves other dogs and does fine with cats also. He can be shy when you first meet him, and he is a bit nervous in new environments. As he is a young puppy he will need an adopter willing to work on basic training and potty training. Approximate Birthdate: March 14, 2024 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds. For more information please fill out an application. Meet 9 month old Tokyo! He is definitely going through his awkward tween phase. He is all lanky legs... and those EARS! He may grow into them, but honestly - would it be that bad if he didn't? They are truly astonishing to behold. Being with him can brighten up your day. This boy has had a bit of a rough go in life so far. When he was a very young pup, he was surrendered to KCPP with his brothers and sisters, because the owner couldn't afford the puppies from an accidental litter. Tokyo was adopted, but recently he was surrendered by that adopter because he is now too big for the size restrictions where they lived. Tokyo is looking for an adopter that is going to be able to help him learn his doggy manners, so that he can be the best dog and companion that he can be. As an added bonus, if you adopt Tokyo, you may get better reception for your cell and tv signals, with those ears on him. :) Tokyo does attend doggy play groups and is tolerant of other dogs. He is treat motivated, which is great for training. While he occasionally pulls on walks, he also checks back with you to be sure he's doing what you want. Titus came to us in December of 2023. When he came to us, he was in pretty rough shape. He had been shot and had an injury to his lower jaw. We gave him the medical attention he needed, and we have now gotten him on the mend. Titus prefers not to be around other animals but is always up to meet new human friends. He loves a good face squish and all the hugs you can lay on him. He really is a true testament on how forgiving and loving our four-legged friends can be.
