Meet Nemo!This special gentle giant is a true hero- a fire broke out in his owner's home and he barked and alerted them that something was wrong, so everyone was able to get out safely. Sadly after losing their home to the fire, they were unable to find housing that would allow such a large breed dog, and were forced to surrender him. He's about 9-10 years old, 95 lbs which is mostly his giant head on too-short stubby little legs, and a lovely docile slow older guy who is hoping to find a foster or adopter asap to keep his shelter stay short. Nemo is overall in pretty good shape but has some arthritis, a few unconcerning lumps and bumps, and some chronic allergies and ear infections (made worse by his ears having been cropped completely off years ago before he was first rescued:() that his adopter will have to stay on top of treating and controlling. He's not reactive to other animals but has not lived with them previously, so right now is looking for a home where he can be an only pet.
