Story
As with most big dogs, Baby is a gentle giant. The only place she wants to be is next to you just in case you want to pet her. She is shy and sometimes timid. Loud noises or fast moving people/objects scare her. When she gets scared she lays down and shakes. It takes her a few days to warm up, but after that its all love all the time. She loves her crate, as its a safe place for her. She is very smart. She knows sit and comes when called. She is wary of other dogs, and introductions are best done slowly as fast moving objects startle her. Are you interested in adopting Baby or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to help@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center). We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Baby. Thanks for thinking adoption!
