Story
Meet Garcia  Garcia is truly a survivor. He came to us from the brink of starvation and has fought his way back to health, confidence, and purpose. Now, at just 9 months old, he’s ready to become the incredible dog he was always meant to be. Garcia is a guardian-breed mix (Boerboel, Neapolitan Mastiff, Pit Bull, Cane Corso, and Rottweiler), and he carries all the traits that come with that: loyalty, intelligence, drive, and a strong desire for structure and guidance. He has been training daily with @honorbrightdogtraining and Janice, and he has absolutely flourished. Garcia looks to his people for direction, learns quickly, and thrives when given a job and routine. He has a lot of energy to burn and will do best in an active, experienced guardian-breed home that understands his needs. Garcia would love a large, securely fenced yard where he can run, play, and enjoy his beloved toys. He has done well with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. What he needs most is stability, consistency, and leadership. This special boy has overcome so much, and now he deserves a home that can help him continue growing into the confident, balanced guardian he’s meant to be. We are looking for a guardian-breed experienced home to complete Garcia’s journey. You must be over 21 to apply and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA. Story
PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 Originated from ACCT KL 08313 Hunter is a big-hearted, slightly confused mastiff mix with a heart as huge as his paws! Estimated around 6 years old (but he may secretly be a mischievous young pup at heart), this neutered gentleman is ready to find a home that appreciates a gentle giant with a silly side. Hunter is a quick learnerhes already mastered sit and is working hard on down. He takes treats with the utmost politeness, and is practicing his leash manners like a champ. Crate-trained and loving his fetch sessions, hes a bundle of joy who brings smiles wherever he goes. Currently tipping the scales at just under 100 lbs, Hunter is working on filling out his frame. Despite his impressive size, he truly believes hes a lap dog, and hell happily snuggle as close as youll let him. Hes dog-friendly, playful, and hilariously unaware of just how big he really is. Hunter came to us from a local shelter, a bit on the skinny side, but his heart has always been full. Hes ready to find a home where he can grow into his body, his love, and his ever-expanding collection of toys. If youre ready for cuddles, goofy smiles, and a loyal companion who will happily fetch, sit, and snuggle like a boss, Hunter is your guy! Please visit our website www.wagsrescue.org to learn more about this amazing dog and Wags Rescue.
