When I’m feeling my best, I love long walks (2+ miles) and exploring the world with my person. Handsome Toro is magnificent! He's stunningly handsome and a very sweet boy. Toro's previous family got rid of him when they had a baby. They kept him as an outside only dog and his sensitive skin (being a Sharpei mix) has taken a toll. He's currently receiving treatment and responding very well. His exterior wounds are healing, except the tip of his nose, because he loves to bury his bones, lol. Toro's heart is also slowing healing from being abandoned by the only family he had ever known but he's happy now, because he's getting lots of attention and walks now. Toro is a total love. Very affectionate and playful. He loooooves car rides. Toro is happiest when he is by your side. We are looking for a calm, adult household with yard access. Toro should be an only dog. Please do not apply if you are looking for a guard dog or a dog to make you look tough. We are only placing Toro into a responsible, sensible home who will keep him safe and happy from now on. We were able to find a permanent home for one dog, but despite over two years of trying, we have been unable to find one for Baby Ruth. Our family is growing (there are 4 children), and with two dogs and a cat of our own (she got along great with all)."
