Hey there! I’m Franks McLowrider 🐾🥓 I’m a 3-year-old Mini Dachshund weighing in at a mighty 9.8 pounds… which is basically all muscle for cuddling and snack-catching. I came to you as a stray, but don’t worry—I’ve already mastered the art of making humans fall in love with me (it’s a skill, really). Let’s get one thing straight: I love food. Treats? Yes, please. Snacks? Absolutely. Dropped crumbs? You better believe I’ll be there. If you’ve got a bite, I’ll be your loyal, tail-wagging, love-spreading sidekick for life. Snuggles? Oh, you bet. I’m basically a professional lap warmer and a full-time cuddle enthusiast. I’m still working on this “potty training” thing, but honestly… life is better with patience, consistency, and maybe a few extra treats (I can’t help it—it’s my motivation). I’m super sweet, a little shy at first, but once I trust you, I’m your devoted little shadow who will follow you from room to room and offer endless love and hilariously enthusiastic snuggle sessions. Oh! And I get along wonderfully with both cats and dogs, so your furry friends will likely adore me as much as I’ll adore you. I’m happiest in a home where I can feel safe, loved, and, most importantly… fed. Did I mention I love food? So, if you’re looking for a tiny, goofy, food-obsessed cuddle bug with a huge heart and a personality that will make you laugh every day, look no further—Franks McLowrider is here to steal your heart (and maybe a bite of your sandwich). 💖🐶 Adoption fee is:$400 Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet David, a 5 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who weighs in at about 10 lbs.  He is very smart with perfect house manners, and just a well behaved canine companion overall.  David is good around children (over the age of 6 due to his small size) and loves attention from anyone willing to give it.  He thinks that treats from a human’s hand are the best thing in the world!  David has a brother named Goliath that looks just like him, but with Dachshund floppy ears who's also up for adoption.  They get along great but do not have to be adopted together.  As with all our rescue dogs, they're neutered and up to date on their vaccinations, worming, flea control and heartworm prevention.  Their adoption fee is just $125 each.If one or both of these 'wiener dogs' may be the perfect pets for you please click on the green arrow icon at the top of the page to fill out an online adoption application (no cost or obligation).  Once approved we'll be delighted to set up a time for you to come and visit with them in person.  Thank you for considering one of our rescue pets.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 21, 2025, 5:50 pm
