After rescuing her, I managed to locate her owner, who had adopted her from the San Diego Humane Society as an 8-week-old puppy. Sadly, the owner, a senior citizen residing in a care facility, admitted she was unable to handle Sierra's boundless energy and felt misled about her breed. When she reached out for help, I couldn't refuse. Now named Sierra, this 5-month-old pup is a whirlwind of happiness and enthusiasm. She adores people and dogs of all sizes and coexists peacefully with our foster cats. Sierra would blossom as a family dog, particularly with older, considerate children. She enjoys walks and car rides and would thrive with consistent puppy training. Looking for an active home for our young Miniature Pinscher (a year and 4ish months old) She is a very sweet, loving, and playful dog with a lot of energy. She is still working on indoor/house training and will do best with someone patient and consistent who can continue her training. She is great with kids and good with other dogs, especially playful ones. However, she is too energetic for our elderly dog, which is why we are seeking a new home for her. She needs an active family or individual who can give her plenty of exercise, long walks, hikes, playtime, and mental stimulation. She would thrive in a home where she can burn off her energy and get lots of attention. Since then, their family’s circumstances have changed significantly, making it impossible to provide the time, care, and attention they deserve. We are looking for a loving home where Cosmic and Barbeque can stay together forever. Might it be with you? Cosmic is 9 years old and weighs 10 lb. She is a gentle and loving girl who enjoys being petted and snuggled. She is bonded to Barbeque, and they cuddle, play, walk together, and find safety in one another.
