Story
Meet our sweet & smart Dale!. Exciting adventures await with this adorable little super-heroe! Chip 'n Dale - he is a Dachshund & miniature Pinscher Expect to have with him a lifetime of love, cuddles, and doggy treats. He is 15 pounds; although he looks taller but he is very light - he will not be over 25 pound once full grown. He is very smart; lovable, lap pup, he loves to play tag of war and loves to fetch as well. Sometimes he looks like a Bambi, such a cute face he gives you:) He is being fostered with a pack of 15 dogs and 7 cats - therefore, he is a dog and cat friendly. His best friend who is like a brother to him is Leo. So if you are looking for 2 pups, 1 small and one medium these 2 will make a great addition to your family and will bring hours of enjoyment when you then together playing and loving each other. Dale sits on the head of Leo when he goes to sleep..lol.. However, no need to adopt them together, only if you are looking for 2 pups to adopt. He is very funny, and he will provide you with lots of hours of enjoyment as he has an amazing personality. He is crate trained; he sleeps all night in his crate with no accidents.:) As with all rescued fury kids; they are going to need training, love reinforcement; as you know they all come from a tough beginning on their lives and the art of adopting a rescued creature is to bring them to be the best they can be with love and patience. Their donation adoption fee includes being spayed/neutered, they have received their 3 core puppy vaccines, dewormed, and a free health checkup through a local participating vet clinic. Please follow the instructions and start with completing an application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html We are scheduling meet & greet adoption appointments and keeping a distance protocol. Story
Meet Emery!   Emery entered Irving Shelter as a stray, and when she wasn't claimed, we scooped her up on April 19th to become a Frosted Face. Emery is around 10 years old, weighs 8 lbs., and is very sweet. When she arrived, she was understandably shy and a bit overwhelmed by all the activity and other dogs at FFF. Fortunately, Emery went on a two-week Frosted Fling to give her a chance to decompress. She was so much relaxed and comfortable in a home, that her Fling Mom decided to foster Emery until she is adopted! Her Foster Mom shares: "Emery is a very shy, tentative little girl who love snacks, meals, a soft bed, and her stroller walkies. She also loves a little cuddle and to know where her person is. She is very easy to take care of. She really just wants to be in a soft bed at your feet all day long. Emery does well with my dog and my mom's dog when he visits. She likes going for walks and is the perfect speed for anyone who enjoys a slow, short stroll around the neighborhood, but she especially riding in the stroller! Emery is a foodie and loves mealtime! Her favorite treat is a tiny Kong with half of a teaspoon of peanut butter in it. Emery sleeps through the night. She runs to the bedroom at bedtime, bows her little head down, and waits to be picked up and put in bed, and given her night-night treat. She has become completely independent in regards to taking herself out through the back door for potties. I have a magnetic screen door, and she used to be a bit fearful of pushing herself though it, but is now totally comfortable with it. If you’re not home and she needs to potty, she will find a potty pad (I have a couple of washable ones around my little house.)   Emery will be a wonderful addition to a family that has love and gentle patience to give. She would love a home where someone is around most of the time, whether they are retired or work from home and want a loving little companion? Emery will be with me until we find her love match. I know you’re out there!"   Do you have a spot in your heart for little Emery? To become Emery's forever family, please complete our placement questionnaire at:  www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/apply Learn more about our programs at:  www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/family  No adoption fees, and we provide free lifetime medical care at FFF Veterinary Hospital!   Questions:  adopt@frostedfacesfoundation.org September 27, 2023, 2:05 am

Story
Meet Darla Dazzle! Darla Dazzle was surrendered to the San Diego Humane Society by her owner for unknown reasons. We scooped her up to become a Frosted Face on September 11th. She is 9 years old, weighs 31 lbs., and is very sweet! Darla joined volunteers and other Frosted Faces at a birthday celebration for a previously adopted dog, and she was a social butterfly! She enjoyed meeting new people, getting pets, and eating a cupcake. She also did great with all the other dogs there.   Darla just left on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we are looking forward to learning what she is like in home setting. Check back soon for an update!   To become her forever family, please fill out our placement questionnaire at:   www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/apply   Learn more about our programs at:  www.frostedfacesfoundation.org/family  No adoption fees, and we provide free lifetime medical care onsite at FFF Veterinary Hospital.   Questions:  adopt@frostedfacesfoundation.org September 27, 2023, 2:05 am
