Story
Looking for a cuddly companion who loves to be close? Meet Joe Black! This sweet, goofy pup absolutely lives for snuggles—he wants to be held as much as possible and feels safest when he's near his person. Joe Black was an owner surrender from Bakersfield and has been thriving in foster care. When crated or left alone, he may cry and be vocal for a bit—usually settling down after about 30 minutes. He’s not a constant barker, just a pup who really loves connection. He’s also been around cats and handled it well. Playful, affectionate, and full of heart, Joe Black is looking for someone who’s ready for a loyal best friend who loves to be by your side (or in your lap) as much as possible. Be ready to adopt. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation. Please fill out our online application and our adoption counselor will reach out to you to discuss meeting your new family member.

A dog with all its eyeballs out, a dog with a blackened body, a dog with rotting genitalia. We struggle to find the words to describe this horrific scene. Like hamsters in a wheel, the dogs plead for help. There is every dog that has once been a trend to have. Once popular dogs are dying in the corner and currently popular breeds are crying with their entire bodies to save them. This is a place where animals have been illegally abused and bred for 25 years. From this hell, WEACT rescued #weact_nox

Story
Meet Winnie and Wila...mother and daughter that are a bonded pair! Winnie is a female, 3 year old, 10lb Min Pin mix that was saved pregnant off the streets of Tijuana where she was dumped and scrounging for food. A kind woman took her in where Winnie gave birth, but only one baby survivied - a little girl, Wila a Border Terrier/MinPin/Schnauzer mix who is now almost 7 months old. WInnie was in bad condition when she was rescued. She had a type of mange that was non contagious but nonetheless it left her skin in terrible shape. With medical treatment and lots of tlc...she is in absolute perfect shape now! Both girls are very sweet and loving, non-aggressive and perfect with dogs and cats. We will only adopt them together as they are very bonded. They are in an amazing foster home right now who has nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Winnie and WIla have been through so much together that we promised them that we will find them the best and most loving forever home out there! Winnie and Wila are spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles Areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. Miss Coco is a love bug! She is chipin, smart and very affectionate. She will be a great addition to active family. She is little bit overweight and needs a lot of exercising which is also really great for retired owner/couple to achieve the same goals - stay healthy and happy. Please, request real photos.
