Story
Libby can be shy with new people but she is very sweet once she feels comfortable. She loves to be held especially if she can sit on your lap that is a bonus for her. She LOVES to give kisses. She is loves to talk. She gets the zoomies and it's so fun to watch!I don't have a history with dogs, so I may need slow introductions to new dogs.I find cats a little TOO interesting, so best to keep them away.I lived with older kids in my previous home but may be selective with your kids.If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm. We recommend coming in as early as possible, as adoptions are first-come, first-served

Story
Rosa: 3 yr old black & tan female, spay pending, undocked tail & uncropped ears, 10.5”, 10.6 lbs., rescued from a shelter. Sweet little Rosa was hit by a car and abandoned at a vet. She has mostly been confined to a crate for the past few weeks while her broken leg heals. She should be ready for her forever sometime in March. Rosa loves people and quickly bonded to her foster dad. She likes to give doggy kisses and have her tummy rubbed. We are working on housetraining Rosa. She quickly learned to use a doggy door. Rosa is quiet and easygoing. She still has some puppy-like energy and excitedly jumps up on people. She does not interact with other dogs but is OK with being around them. She doesn’t care for cats, and we don’t know how she is with children. Anyone adopting Rosa will have a sweet and affectionate little gal. Note: Rosa is located in Roseville, CA - and we will not fly this girl. If you wish to adopt, please fill out our IMPS Min Pin Adoption Application If you have previously submitted an Application form, there is no need to re-apply. NAME:TagSTATS:Male, Min Pin, 10 years, 10 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Shy at first and when he feels safe, he is your best snuggle buddy..SKILLSPotty trained.Crate trained.Leash trained.Older children only.Good with dogs.Good with cats.Would make a great hiking buddy.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Couch cuddler.Likes walks.Needs patient owner willing to work on behavior (see details below).ONE LAST THING:Tag is a gorgeous red Miniature Pinscher. He is shy at first with new people. Once he gets to know you he is a snuggly sweet guy. Tag is very sensitive and smart. He is coming out of his shell and amazing transformation. He loves to snuggle. He loves to curl up right on top of you or beside you and just enjoy his time with you. He has been great with dogs that are similar to his size and adapts quickly. He's also got the basics down (kennel trained, potty trained, gets along with other animals) and is ready to find the perfect home. He's pretty vocal when it comes to telling you what he wants. For example, he will bark or whine near the water dish, door (for potty), or food when he wants it. He's so smart and picks up on things pretty quickly.Tag needs time to adjust and decompress in new situations. He is quite skittish and weary of new people. Because he is skittish, he would do best in an all adult home or a home with older, patient children. Loud noises or quick movements make him nervous, so patience and a semi-quiet home would be best.April 24, 2024, 2:04 pm
