He came to us from our partner rescue in Louisiana and is now in a New Jersey foster home Prince has been settling into his foster home beautifully. Prince seems to be a fast learner and he's super eager to please. He is doing great in house training and is about 95% there! While he still has some puppy curiosity and eagerness, he will happily curl up next to you once his zoomies are done. He enjoys playtime and may do well with a dog that is tolerant of his playfulness and shenanigans. His foster mom describes him as a happy and curious little guy. He is smart, funny and loving! Prince is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. he tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home. The pictures and video sent to me showed a scared little pup who was glad to have someone care about her after months of having been left alone! Her family moved and didn't take her with them. Just left her there to fend for herself as if she was the trash they left behind. Even after fifteen years of seeing this type of evil come across my computer screen we still cannot wrap our minds around how someone can do this without feeling an ounce of shame or guilt. Lucky for Josie a neighbor was at least seeing that she had food and water. When our rescue partner in NC reached out with her story and pictures we were quick to say we want her. From the day she came to us she has been timid but so wiling to trust those who are showing her we aren't all like that family who left her! She wants to trust and she wants to believe that she matters! No doubt she deserves that. She is precious and we are happy that she's a Diamond Dog. Fully vetted, spayed, and ready to go home to her family. She is estimated to be around 1 1/2 years old and a mixed breed....maybe min pinscher or chi or hound. She is currently in a foster home in NH and living with several other dogs. She's dog friendly and weighs around 30lbs full grown.

Luckily, she was rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and sent to her foster home 2 months later. Her foster family has been taking good care of her since, and she’s been living peacefully with the resident dog. LeeJu is now more than ready for a furever home! • Personality: Friendly, Curious, Cautious LeeJu is such a friendly and lovable pup with a curious and cautious personality. Her energy level is mid-low as she mostly chills in a kennel at home and prefers to have light walkies mainly for the bathroom. • Affinity with - Dogs: Super friendly with other dogs as long as they are not too large or aggressive. She doesn’t respond to barking dogs as well. She currently lives with a resident dog in her foster home, so she will be a good fit for a family with other furry companions. - Cats: Good with cats. - Adults/Kids: Good with both adults & kids. She is calm even when kids pet her. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered! • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly using the bathroom outdoors but sometimes indoors when she can’t go outside. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good. • Car Rides: Not anymore. She got better at car rides.
