She came to us from our partner rescue in Louisiana and will be in a NJ foster home on 1/10. Meet Brandi- the ultimate sweetheart with a mother's heart. Brandi was surrendered after her beloved owner passed away, and despite the loss, she has shown nothing but love. She raised 5 beautiful pups who have all been adopted and proved to be an incredible mom, now it's her turn. Brandi is housetrained, walks beautifully on the leash, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats and kids. She's friendly, calm and full of sweetness. Brandi is currently thriving in her foster home surrounded by furry and human friends- she's ready to bring that same love and warmth in to her forever home Brandi is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. she tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. Her energy level is mid-low as she mostly chills in a kennel at home and prefers to have light walkies mainly for the bathroom. • Affinity with - Dogs: Super friendly with other dogs as long as they are not too large or aggressive. She doesn’t respond to barking dogs as well. She currently lives with a resident dog in her foster home, so she will be a good fit for a family with other furry companions. - Cats: Good with cats. - Adults/Kids: Good with both adults & kids. Hi there, I’m a pretty little Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix named Cindy. I am about 1.5 years old, weigh 13 lbs, and I was kept with a couple of doggy friends in an outdoor crate on an apartment balcony in San Antonio, Texas. It was a miserable life, and because our owner could not afford our care, we were surrendered to 4 Little Paws Rescue. That was a defining moment for us all, since we were just coming down with Parvo and would surely have died without the rescue's help. With no expense spared, we had a new type of treatment with a very high survival rate called Monoclonal Antibody injection, and just a day or two later, we were out of the woods and feeling wonderful! That was a close call, and now that we are healthy, happy, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, we are ready to find much better futures!! I am a very sweet girl, a bit shy at first, but otherwise great with everyone I meet. I am friendly and playful with other dogs, from big dogs to puppies. I’m a very nice playmate. I love doggy toys, lick mats, rope toys, running zoomies, and collecting sticks from the yard. My foster mom says my energy level is nicely balanced between playful energy and calm energy, and I am VERY affectionate! I like to give and receive kisses, and will stand and stretch out my arms to get picked up to be carried. I sleep at night in bed with my foster parents and am hoping for the same perk in my new forever home. I am housetrained to a potty pad for indoor time, and I am doing well using a doggy door to potty outside. I will cry a bit when kept in a crate, but with toys to entertain me, I do fine. I’m not destructive, so when home alone with the other foster dogs, I am gated off in a family room/kitchen area with access to the doggy door. I hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
