Sadly, Prince was surrendered to the city shelter when his owner’s children were reportedly abusing him. For a small dog who had never known much kindness or love, Prince is incredibly smart with a large repertoire of tricks (stay, sit, go, down). His adorably large ears must make it easy for him to hear commands! Prince likes to go for walks, has a medium energy level, and gets along with other dogs. All in all, Prince seems like a very good boy who grew up in a not-so-good environment. A normal, calm home with positivity & love makes Prince the most wonderful companion. He loves to hang out in the sunshine with his people and all of his foster fur siblings. Between his previous home and the chaotic city shelter, Prince has never known what it’s like to feel safe and loved before his foster home, where he is truly blossoming. Because of his past trauma, Prince should not be crated and may be a bit shy, but is easily won over with a little patience - and some treats - and then develops a deep bond to his people, becoming affectionate and trusting them implicitly. This gentle little lady is as mild-mannered as they come — quiet, observant, and full of soft affection.Peaches has been adjusting wonderfully to her new surroundings. She loves nothing more than lounging nearby, soaking up head scratches, and enjoying peaceful strolls along the boardwalk. On walks, she wears her harness like a pro. She doesn’t pull and will often pause to look back at you, as if to say, “We’re in this together, right?” While she’s still polishing her leash skills, she’s already proving to be a thoughtful and easy walking companion.She’s currently mastering the command “come” and continuing to build her obedience skills. Peaches appears to be housetrained and has been doing great with a consistent routine — she heads outside for potty breaks about 30 minutes after meals. She’s also comfortable in her crate during the day and often chooses it as her cozy little retreat for naps.Peaches would thrive with a medium-energy family who appreciates both active moments and quiet downtime. GRACIE is a 2 yo/7 lb Mini-Miniature Pinscher who is a bundle of energy and quite the BOSS. She is demanding of attention and once in your lap gives nothing but kisses. Is crate trained and wee wee pad trained. I was told she is also house trained but with the snow and cold there is no way she is going outside. GRACIE was used as a breeder. Not sure how many litters she had in her short life but she has the residual reactions to being held in certain positions. At least that is my interpretation of her reactions. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Meet Leeju👋 She was found on the street in South Korea at just 2 months old and sent to a high-risk city shelter along with her four siblings. Luckily, she was rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and sent to her foster home 2 months later. Her foster family has been taking good care of her since, and she’s been living peacefully with the resident dog. LeeJu is now more than ready for a furever home! • Personality: Friendly, Curious, Cautious LeeJu is such a friendly and lovable pup with a curious and cautious personality. Her energy level is mid-low as she mostly chills in a kennel at home and prefers to have light walkies mainly for the bathroom. • Affinity with - Dogs: Super friendly with other dogs as long as they are not too large or aggressive. She doesn’t respond to barking dogs as well. She currently lives with a resident dog in her foster home, so she will be a good fit for a family with other furry companions. - Cats: Good with cats. - Adults/Kids: Good with both adults & kids. She is calm even when kids pet her. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered! • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly using the bathroom outdoors but sometimes indoors when she can’t go outside. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good. • Car Rides: Not anymore. She got better at car rides. Her foster tries to walk her for potty before jumping into the car. • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: A little bit towards continued noise from outside the house. • Appetite/Food Allergies: She likes any sort of food! / No food allergies. • Likes/Dislikes: She loves being petted on her face while snuggling up to your side! / She feels cold easily due to her short coat. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Health: Had surgery on both knees in 2021 and recovered fully. Now maintaining her weight is important.
