This adorable boy is Harley. He is 5-years-old and weighs just 17 lb. We are not sure of his breed mix. He looks like a toy breed version of a shepherd! Whatever the breed, he sure is cute! His foster says "Harley is such a sweetie. He is all about people. He loves pets, the longer the better, and sitting next to you or on your lap. Harley follows you around, ready for action. If nothing is going on, he tucks in his long legs and curls up peacefully near you. Harley is totally housetrained and does not chew. He is not trained in basics like sit and stay, but he learns quickly." Harley likes other dogs and is gentle and good with children. Harley doesn't like to be crated and is so well behaved and happy to be with his people that we recommend a home where he won't be alone a lot. Harley is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, healthy and ready for adoption now! His adoption fee is $395. FELIX IS AVAILABLE AS A FOSTER ONLY IF THE APPLIANT HAS THE INTENTION TO ADOPT IF IT IS THE RIGHT FIT. Felix is an approximately 2 and 1/2 year-old male min-pin who comes to PAWS from a CT animal control where he was picked up as stray. Felix is a friendly little guy who is good around other dogs. His worst quality is his resource guarding. The poor pup has had a rough time. His first adopter who got him from the animal control brought him into bed with her from day 1 which led to him guarding the bed and lashing out. His 2nd adopter wanted to bring him on his UberEats deliveries but Felix was not a fan of being taken in an out of the car multiple times a day. We thought he hit the jackpot with his 3rd adopter. She followed all of our protocols with crate training and respecting his boundaries and he settled in so well. He did great for 3 months until she suddenly moved into a new shared residence which raised his anxiety levels. She was told she could not keep him and abandoned him at a local animal control. Despite all of this Felix was happy to greet all of his old friends at PAWS. He can be an affectionate and friendly guy. He just needs consistency and someone who will not let him get away with any unfavorable behavior. He will do wonderfully again with an adopter who is comfortable following our protocol of crate training him and containing his prized possessions to his crate Felix requires an owner who is comfortable asserting him/herself as the alpha in the relationship, otherwise he thinks he is the one in charge! Although he plays well with other dogs, due to his resource guarding, a household without another dog or cat would probably be best for him. Felix is microchipped, neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

Meet Ddobok💜 He became frightened one day during a thunderstorm and fled his home. Regretfully, Ddobok was involved with a traffic accident and had to visit the animal hospital. While Ddobok was receiving treatment at a hospital, his owners visited Ddobok after a while and gave him up and overturned it multiple times. Eventually they decided to give up Ddobok and he was sent to Adogs Center and now staying with us.😢 Since he has already been abandoned twice, we are looking for a forever family for Ddobok where he won't get hurt any more from people and will enjoy a happy pup life full of unconditional love.🙏 * Separation anxiety: None! * Potty training: 100% outdoor potty! * Energy Level (1~10): Lv. 5 * No problem getting along with other doggy friends at Adogs Center! *After a car accident, Ddobok had surgery on his rear legs, but he can walk without any difficulty!😊 Needs more rehabilitation treatment though. *Is an absolute lovebug who loves people and doggy friends.😊 Loves any person or a dog near him and is an adorable pup who shows his affection nonstop!❣ * Responds aggressively towards cats. *When he first meets someone, he is hesitatant to approach them but soon he develops into a charming pup who can be extremely adorable to them! * Gets excited when going on walks at first. Gideon is a 6 year old neutered male who was found as a local stray. Friendly, energetic, and sweet, Gideon is a fun dog who enjoys going on walks and romping around in the yard. He loves a good blanket and sometimes scares the staff by snuggling so deep into a comforter that we don't realize he's there! Gideon has a food allergy and will need to be on a strictly fish-based diet, but he's not picky with his food and has been more than happy with the adjustment. He could live with a dog-savvy cat and is selective about other dogs, so he may do best with a canine companion content to leave him alone. Hi, my name is Tequila, and I am a pretty female MinPin/Chihuahua mix, 10 months old, 11 lbs, and I was dumped in Mission Texas along with my 3 sisters and our mama. It’s a hard life on the streets, but we had no choice and thankfully we managed to all stay together and stay safe until a local dog rescue picked us up. We were eventually turned over to 4 Little Paws Rescue, all of us now spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, we are ready for our next adventure… moving to Connecticut to find forever homes! Not only do we all look alike, but we behave alike too. We are a friendly and happy group of girls who love people young and old and we get along great with other small dogs (big dogs look scary). We enjoy playtime, wrestling, and tackling each other like a group of football players, but we sure do have fun. I don't think we have ever had doggy toys, but they look interesting especially the ones that squeak. We all go bonkers for doggy treats, and we are all affectionate and snuggly.
