Skipper and Lucy are a bonded pair! We would like to see them adopted together. Skipper is a Jack Russell Terrier Mix at around 25lbs, and Lucy is a black/tan Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua Mix at around 10lbs. Both are around 14 years old. They were surrendered because their owner could no longer continue care. Both Skipper and Lucy are sweet, low-maintenance dogs that enjoy being loved on. They like to nap and cuddle! They are content with a comfy bed, a quiet home, and a person to give them pets and love. Despite being seniors, Skipper and Lucy enjoy going on short walks. Lucy will even get spurts of energy and try to run around! They both are house-trained, though they are older, so they would benefit from more frequent bathroom breaks.We would love to see these two go to a home together, as they are quite bonded. We also do not suggest apartment living, as they can be loud.

-Trey is a handsome Min Pin boy that is estimated to be one year old and weighing at slim and sleek 17 pounds. This boy was found as a stray with a desperate need to be cared for with love and dedication. Critter Cavalry Rescue was luckily contacted by the shelter director and implored to please find him a forever home and turn his sweet life around. Trey deserves to have a wonderful family or single person who wants this nice but nervous boy to be their cuddle bug for many years to come. You can see in his face that he has never been treated so nicely. His foster mom says he is submissive with the other dogs and would fit in with any family that has other cats and dogs. He is crate trained and unbelievably housebroken. Maybe he was someone's boy at one time and somehow lost his way. He was not microchipped nor neutered and he seems a bit ragged around the edges when he was found. One of those road warriors who somehow survived the odds of the past winter filled with snow and ice storms. Trey loves the feel of the cool green grass as he rolls on his back with a smile. He never growls even when some of the other jealous dogs have growled at him when he arrived. He just takes it in stride. He is quiet and needs some reassurance from his human foster mom. Of course he feels vulnerable but we hope that soon there will be a wonderful door that will open for his future and someone will invite him home to live the dream life of a well-loved dog. She is a smart girl who loves routine, is very responsive to coming when called, and will redirect when you tell her no. This sweetheart seems to be house-trained and crate-trained when kept on a schedule, and she gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. She loves to burrow in blankets in her crate where she sleeps soundly at night. Miss Eugenia is an energetic gal with a spirit for adventure and will find a way over a 4 foot fence and out of a fenced backyard, so supervision for yard time is a must. If you’re looking for a calm companion who’s happiest right by your side, Merlin is your guy. His favorite hobby? Snuggling. And not just casual snuggling…we’re talking full-on, curl-up-tight, tuck-himself-under-the-covers, “is that a dog or a burrito?” level commitment. Bedtime with Merlin means you’ll never sleep alone again (whether you planned on it or not). Merlin is pretty much house-trained and just needs a little adjustment period in a new home.
