Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Mrs. Potts from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 8 year old female Mini Pinscher - Chihuahua mix.  I am about 3.5 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,195 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.     July 26, 2024, 11:58 am

Story
🐾 Hey there, I’m Chino! 🐕 I’m a 3-year-old miniature Pinscher and Jindo mix boy with a striking black and tan coat that’s sure to turn heads. I’m a lean 8.5 kg and stand a proud 25 cm tall. I’ve been fixed, so I’m all about the love and fun. 🏪 My Past: My story is a bit rough around the edges. I was once at a place that didn’t value furry lives like mine, but I was rescued and now I’m looking for a forever home where I can thrive and be loved. 🤗 My Personality: I’m the cuddly type, always ready to nuzzle up to friends and strangers alike. I might be a little shy at first, but a tasty snack is the way to my heart. I’m great with kids and love their gentle touch. 🐕 Doggy Friends: I’m cautious when meeting new canine companions, especially if toys or treats are involved. I’m not one to start a tussle, but I’ll stand my ground if need be. 🐱 Cats: We haven’t crossed paths yet, so who knows? Maybe we’ll be besties! 🌳 Outdoor Fun: I’ve got energy to spare, so I love a good romp outside. But once I’m done, it’s all about relaxation. 🐾 On the Leash: I might tug a bit because there’s so much to see and smell! But I’m good at following my human pals. 🍖 Mealtime: I’m not possessive with my food around people, but I do tell other dogs to back off with a little growl. 🏠 Home Life: I do get a bit anxious when left alone, so I’d love a home where I can feel secure and part of the pack. I’m a champ at using the kennel and I’m well-behaved indoors. 🚩 Marking Territory: It’s just a dog thing, you know? But I’m learning to be the best gentleman I can be. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who’s full of affection and ready for a second chance at happiness, I’m your guy. Let’s start our adventure together! 🐾💖 Ready to meet me? Just reach out, and I’ll be there with wagging tail and eager eyes! 🐾🏡

Story
Hi my name is Rufus,I am just a young boy who has a zest for life. I was injured when I was really young and I limped when my foster mom rescued me. I had surgery on my hip and I am now recovering from that. I am sure that in a few more months I will walk without a limp and be as good as new.I love to play with the other dogs here both young and old. I am not rough so even the smallest ones are fun to be with. I don’t live with cats so I am not sure what that would be like. I don’t live with kids either but I think I would like to have some young friends to play with. Toys are great, especially the chew type. But sometimes I get toys confused with shoes and my mom doesn’t like that.I sleep in a crate at night and sometimes during the day when my family goes out but I am ok with that because there is always a treat that goes with that.I know how to sit for a treat too. I will need some extra training if you want to teach me some tricks. I haven’t been out walking on a leash yet because of my injury but I am a smart boy so it won’t take me long to learn. If you are looking for a loving, quiet, and sweet boy to add to your family then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Loving life,Rufus. Story
Meet Ddobok💜 He became frightened one day during a thunderstorm and fled his home. Regretfully, Ddobok was involved with a traffic accident and had to visit the animal hospital. While Ddobok was receiving treatment at a hospital, his owners visited Ddobok after a while and gave him up and overturned it multiple times. Eventually they decided to give up Ddobok and he was sent to Adogs Center and now staying with us.😢 Since he has already been abandoned twice, we are looking for a forever family for Ddobok where he won't get hurt any more from people and will enjoy a happy pup life full of unconditional love.🙏 * Separation anxiety: None! * Potty training: 100% outdoor potty! * Energy Level (1~10): Lv. 5 * No problem getting along with other doggy friends at Adogs Center! *After a car accident, Ddobok had surgery on his rear legs, but he can walk without any difficulty!😊 Needs more rehabilitation treatment though. *Is an absolute lovebug who loves people and doggy friends.😊 Loves any person or a dog near him and is an adorable pup who shows his affection nonstop!❣ * Responds aggressively towards cats. *When he first meets someone, he is hesitatant to approach them but soon he develops into a charming pup who can be extremely adorable to them! * Gets excited when going on walks at first. Pulls on the leash a little but currently getting training, so things should get better! * He need care because he likes eating food off the ground when out for walk. * No problem letting his paws touched or get wiped after walks. * No carsickness, enjoys the scenary and drive during the ride. * Sheds a little. * Mastered ‘sit’, ‘house’, and ‘wait’. * Favorites: All kinds of food and walks. 💙 Foster's Instagram: @adogs_imbo 💙 Health issues: Requires constant observation and management due to a grade 2 of bilateral patellar luxation.
