No out of state adoptions - Northern California will not be considered - Needs to be local to Orange County only -- NO LA - NO La county - will be accepted. owner surrender due to landlord issues / moving not allowed to have dogs. Boys are 6 months old- supposedly parents are Maltipoo but surely doesn't like it at all -- we think they are mixed with something else we will be doing DNA test to see what mix is - little nervous but overall very sweet boys. Puppy criteria- MUST HAVE another dog in the home between ages of 1-4 years old- under 20 pounds - will not make exceptions -- However if someone is willing to adopt two puppies from our rescue we are totally okay with that. Abandoned by his owner in board and care and then relinquished to Poochmatch for adoption. Henri and his buddy Milo (looks identical) have been in my care for about 2 months. Accustomed to being an indoor pet, he is well mannered, sociable with humans and other dogs. Never demanding, Henri will make a great family pet. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

ADOPT OR FOSTER OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE Here’s Ranger’s story which is definitely not a new story: Ranger was brought to AALOC by a man who said his parents found the dog but weren't allowed to have pets at their apartment. Ranger looked well cared for and had a new collar. His teeth were clean, and he had a chip with an owner phone number available. Unfortunately, when we tried calling the owners they did not respond, and it is very likely the individual who dropped Ranger off as a “stray” was actually the previous owner. Ranger is a small, adult male poodle mix. Ranger was quiet and seemed sad when he arrived, but without hesitation Ranger allowed the AALOC team to cuddle him. Ranger’s hair is curly and his coat will need to be cut and groomed regularly. Please complete an application to adopt or foster Ranger at www.AALOC.org. As a foster all essential vet care, food or other needs of the foster pet will be covered by AALOC. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Ranger and get to know him a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas.
