Berry is one of our sanctuary pups and is not available for adoption. Please help us support Berry by donating in his name.Hello! My name is Berry, and I am a great catch for those preferring a more mature companion! I am a super sweet boy--smart and affectionate, too! I'm what they call "sight impaired." I do fine once I know my way around my surroundings, but I like my humans to be close by to reassure me that I'm safe. I'm really good on my walks, and of course being a senior I like my walks slow and short. I'm not boring, though! My foster mom says I have a definite silly side, too. If you want a dignified, easygoing gentleman to keep you company, then I'm your guy. I am loved and well-cared for with my foster family but I am looking for my forever home. I have had a thorough health examination, I’m microchipped and I will have a dental cleaning prior to adoption. If you have room in your heart and home for me, please complete an adoption application. https://bichonrescueoc.org/adoption-applicatio

SOFIA IS SPECIAL NEEDS AND IS IN NEED OF A SPONSOR. SHE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION Hello everyone, My name is Sofia and my personality is as big as my beautiful name. I'm a 11-year-old small 8-pound Bichon Frise mix. I am fun, loving and full of spirit! They call me a SPECIAL NEEDS PUP. I took a fall before becoming a BROC BABE and the doctors said I would NEVER walk again due to a spinal cord rupture. But my foster mom says I have the will to get wherever I want, nothing holds me back. My BROC Aunties got some custom wheels for me and you should see me run. I'm like a horse in its chariot, and I must say, I do look adorable. I take walks with and without my wheels, I walk with all my fur siblings and chase bunnies like no other but I need my wheels at times. My foster mom loves me and takes great care of me. I am still practicing walking and recovering and could use some help with my medical bills and daily needs. If you’d like to sponsor me, please use the link below. Thank you! SALT IS BONDED WITH PEPPER! 🎉 Double the Fun, Double the Love – Meet Salt & Pepper! 🖤🤍 Hi everyone! We're Salt & Pepper, two adorable three-year-old Bichon Poodle mix brothers, and wherever we go, the party follows! If you've been looking for a little excitement, laughter, and a whole lot of love, we just might be your perfect match. Our family loved us very much, but due to circumstances beyond their control, they could no longer care for us. Thankfully, the wonderful people at Bichon Rescue of Orange County stepped in and promised to help us find the forever home we deserve. We're completely bonded and have been best friends our whole lives, so we're looking for a family that will keep us together. We love playing, exploring, making people laugh, and then curling up with our humans when the day is done. We're great with other dogs, ride nicely in the car, and have the sweetest hearts. We're still young and full of happy energy, so we could use a little training to polish our manners. We're smart little guys and eager to learn, especially if treats and love are involved! If you're looking for two handsome little companions who will fill your home with joy, laughter, and unconditional love, we can't wait to meet you. If we sound like the two little guys you've been searching for, please visit bichonrescueoc.org and submit an adoption application. We promise to bring twice the love, twice the smiles, and twice the fun into your life! Love, Salt & Pepper 🐾

Story

ADOPT OR FOSTER OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE Here’s Ranger’s story which is definitely not a new story: Ranger was brought to AALOC by a man who said his parents found the dog but weren't allowed to have pets at their apartment. Ranger looked well cared for and had a new collar. His teeth were clean, and he had a chip with an owner phone number available. Unfortunately, when we tried calling the owners they did not respond, and it is very likely the individual who dropped Ranger off as a “stray” was actually the previous owner. Ranger is a small, adult male poodle mix. Ranger was quiet and seemed sad when he arrived, but without hesitation Ranger allowed the AALOC team to cuddle him. Ranger’s hair is curly and his coat will need to be cut and groomed regularly. Please complete an application to adopt or foster Ranger at www.AALOC.org. As a foster all essential vet care, food or other needs of the foster pet will be covered by AALOC. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Ranger and get to know him a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

Story

Meet Sunny !! Sunny is available for adoption, but HE IS IN SANCTUARY, which means BROC will support his care and needs for the rest of his life. Hi, I’m Sunny! Can you believe I’m 17 years old? Me neither! I may have the years, but I sure don’t act them—I still bounce, dance, and prance around the house like a pup. I’ve got a silly, goofy streak that makes everyone laugh, and a sweet heart that just wants to be near my people. Even though I don’t let age slow me down, I do need a little extra care these days—things like vet visits, medicine, and the comforts that help me keep living my best (and silliest) life. Your support helps me keep dancing through my golden years, making people smile, and soaking up every moment of love and joy. Thank you for being part of my story—you’re the sunshine that keeps me going! Sunny is adoptable to someone willing to take on his special needs. If you would like to help support Sunny, please visit our website at bichonrescueoc.org and click the donate button.
