Story
🧡 Meet Lucy – A Tender-Hearted Survivor Looking for Love 🧡 Lucy is a 3-year-old spayed female who was rescued from a severe hoarding situation along with over 30 other dogs. She's gentle, quiet, and incredibly resilient despite everything she’s been through. This sweet girl is not leash-trained yet, but she is pad trained and very gentle when hand-fed. She's learning to eat from a bowl and starting to explore life outside her comfort zone. Lucy enjoys being held and seems to find comfort in gentle lap time and petting — her favorite spot is a soft dog bed in a quiet corner. Lucy is not aggressive and has never growled or snapped, even under stress. She’s shy and will need someone with patience and experience with unsocialized or hoarded dogs to help her continue her journey to healing. What Lucy Needs in a Home: A calm, quiet household (no young children, please) A fenced yard with a smaller, secure potty area Another kind and confident dog to help her learn the ropes A person or family with patience, love, and a gentle routine Lucy is currently being housed with her friend Ethel, and they have begun to be separated to encourage independence. This is a special girl who didn’t ask for the circumstances she came from — but she deserves the very best going forward. If you’re ready to open your heart to a dog who will reward your patience with quiet loyalty and love, Lucy is ready to begin her new chapter. 📍 Located in Bradenton, FL 📩 Apply to adopt at ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
🐶 Meet Lewis – A Gentle Rescue Dog Learning to Trust 🐾 📍 Spring Hill, FL | 🐕‍🦺 Neutered🕒 Age: Approx. 2–3 years | ⚕️ Heartworm Negative | 🐾 Male Lewis's early life lacked the love and structure every dog deserves, but he’s making progress each day in his foster home. Lewis is a sweet, submissive boy who’s curious and playful, but still learning to feel safe around people. Lewis is about 15 lbs. He’s never shown any signs of aggression — not even at the vet. He just needs a calm, patient adopter who can help him continue his journey toward trust and confidence. 🐾 Personality: Shy but gentle and submissive Playful with other dogs – he needs a kind canine friend! Curious and slowly coming out of his shell No resource guarding or aggression 🐕 Training Progress: Learning to walk on a leash Crate trained – keeps his crate clean with scheduled potty breaks. Working on housebreaking Eats well from a bowl Learning that pets and affection are good things 🏡 Lewis Needs: A fenced yard (small is fine) – he’s not ready for open spaces yet A friendly, confident dog in the home to guide him is a MUST A calm, experienced home (prior experience with shy, unsocialized, or hoarded dogs is a big plus) Someone who understands progress will be slow but incredibly rewarding 💙 Lewis is a diamond in the rough who will blossom in the right environment. With love, structure, and another dog to show him the ropes, he will make an incredible companion. 📩 Apply to adopt at: ewenityfarmsbch.com

Story
Mojo / Holiday Available for adoption www.VIPRESCUE.org Breed: Bichon Age: 13 yr young Sex: Male Weight: 14 lb Color: White Gets along with dogs: yes Gets along with Cats: Unknown Kids: Older, but prefers an adult only home We’d like you to meet Mojo, or better known in his foster home as Moho or Mojito. This darling senior boy is a 13 year Bichon weighing in at just 14 lbs. This sweetheart found himself at Animal Control as a stray through no fault of his own, and hit the Rescue jackpot when we transferred him into our care and is currently in one of our amazing foster homes. If you need some new Mojo, he might just be the boy for you! You can even call him Mojito, it doesn’t really matter to him as long as he’s getting lots of human attention. Upon intake, he visited the “dog”ter to have a lumpy lump removed, and was also neutered at the same time. He’s doing very well with both, except for that dang cone that prevents him from using the doggie door properly. He can get out but sometimes he has trouble getting back in, but It doesn’t matter though because someone is always there with him and that dang cone will be gone soon, (yeah!) Then let the good times roll! Mojo is a playful boy who enjoys romping with his foster family brothers and sisters and wishes they’d participate more.Ha! He’s 13, but acts like he’s a young 7 yr old! When they don’t want to play he loves to explore all those neat places out in the yard. (with supervision of course!)There’s so many new and exciting adventures to occupy his time. When he’s not romping with his pals in the yard or snoozing on the couch with the “human”, he enjoys taking walks and does very well on the leash. Mojo is full of love to give and would be a great addition to any home, but he’d prefer an adult family, and one who is home more often than not. Please keep in mind the costs to groom him, usually every 6-8 weeks, and this cost can range from $60-$120/per grooming. Mojo is neutered, has had a dental, is microchipped, current with his vaccinations and is current on flea and heartworm prevention. Does he sound like a good fit for you and your home?? If you’re interested in adding this little cutie to your family, please visit www.viprescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application. Please make sure to read the entire bio on the pet you’re interested in before applying to adopt to make sure you meet the pets needs. Thank you for thinking rescue.
