Story
Rehoming fee $850 but I paid $1700 plus $250 for this emotional support letter. I invested a lot due to vaccinations, vet visits, food, etc. I realized that I cant afford a pet right now and I dont have the time. I would like not to loose all of my moneyI bought him at 11 weeks and he is now 20 weeks old. Semi-potty trained. He has had his 4th round of vaccines.

Story
🐾 Rudolph — Mini Labradoodle and the last of our Holiday Litter ❤️ Rudolph is still looking for his forever home! This handsome boy stands out with his beautiful black and tan (“Rottweiler-style”) markings. In Labrador-type dogs, these black-and-tan or black-and-rust markings can be a recessive trait that appears when both parents carry the gene. He also has a soft wavy coat along his back that gives him even more character. Rudolph has a friendly, playful disposition and tends to be more on the submissive side, which helps him get along with just about everyone. He enjoys playtime, exploring, and being part of the action. He is: ✔️ Dewormed ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Vaccinated ✔️ On monthly preventatives ✔️ Crate trained He is also working on leash skills and potty training and continues to make great progress. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing pup who will fit in with a variety of homes, Rudolph may be your guy. ❤️ 🎄 Apply to adopt: https://linktr.ee/pawprintsofhoperescue #AdoptDontShop #RudolphThePup #HolidayLitter #BlackAndTanPup #RescuePuppy #DoodleMix #DFWRescue #FortWorthDogs #PawprintsOfHope #RescueIsMyFavoriteBreed

Story
Here's a version that sounds more like a rescue telling his story and less like a polished adoption ad: Thacker is an AKC-registered Miniature Poodle who somehow found himself being passed from family to family before finally landing somewhere safe. When he arrived at Flying B, he was underweight and suffering from one of the worst skin conditions we've seen in a long time. The good news? Our veterinary team believes his condition is the result of neglect and a lack of basic care, not chronic allergies or a lifelong medical issue. With proper nutrition, treatment, and a little time, Thacker should make a full recovery. And despite everything he's been through, Thacker hasn't lost his spark. He's smart, affectionate, playful, and completely house trained. He has excellent manners in the home and is the kind of dog who just seems to know how to fit into a family. He's friendly with other dogs but doesn't need to be the center of attention—he's perfectly content to coexist and do his own thing. Honestly, Thacker is the real deal. The hard part of his story is behind him, and now he's ready for the life he should have had all along: a family that sees him as a forever commitment, not a temporary stop along the way. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.

Story
Bentley is being fostered in Illinois. Bentley has some vision.Bentley, a reserved, easy-going gentleman is looking for a calm, relaxed housemate/best friend. He was recently interviewed about his special search. What would your perfect “digs” include?-I am very shy, so it would have an area to sleep and dine privately with some storage for my soft, plushy toy stash. In addition I would need a second cozy dog bed for relaxing and just “being” closer to my human(s) in the common area.-Ideally it must also include green space. I love to be outdoors! The words “outside” or “walk” just start my tail a-wagging uncontrollably. (See video) A leisurely jaunt at a medium waddle with an occasional relaxed trot or a super fun “Sniffari” is enjoyed several times a day!Would you share the qualities you need in a housemate/best friend?- My person will need to be patient, intuitive and willing to take the time for trust building. (As an introvert, I can be a puzzle and full of contradictions). Here are a few examples....I require a large perimeter of personal space, but offer the same to my person. I am low-maintenance, well-mannered and not an in-your-face attention-seeker, yet I also feel safe and the most comfortable knowing my human is nearby. This makes me an ideal housemate for a retiree or a remote worker.A cuddle bug I am not, yet I have been known to fall asleep in a lap occasionally and I find head scratches or butt and back rubs absolutely irresistible.Meeting humans is difficult for me, yet I approach well-mannered dogs happily. What do you consider your finest quality?-I am agreeable. Dress me up in a silly sweater, wipe my dirty toes when I come in the house, give me a bath, take a car ride.....as long as I am with you, I’m all in.And your weakest?-I am working on conquering my insecurities. I get anxious when I am home alone for a long stretch, so I sometimes have potty accidents.Bentley, what else would you like to tell folks?-I sleep through the night and during the day it is my mission to provide quiet company, put a smile on your face and love in your heart.BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
