Story
Bowser is a good dog he likes to bark at the postman, but when you come in the house he’s your friend. He is kinda shy and likes to spend a little time in his kennel. I don’t remember the year I got him but I think he’s about 12. I hate to do this but my living situation is changing and I am having difficulty keeping him. He has no major health problems that I know of his teeth are not so good so eats canned food.

Story
Jack has been in a great home with a loving couple for 10 years. Now, the couple is moving out of the country and Jack cannot go. They are very sad. They have loved and cared for Jack superbly. He is a happy dog and it will be difficult to leave him. Jack is a sweet, calm, and loving senior (about 12.5 years old) who’s happiest being your loyal little shadow—and, yes, your lap dog. He tends to bond closely with people in the home and will happily follow them through the day, while still getting along well with other small dogs. Jack is low-maintenance, quiet (not much of a barker), and doesn’t demand constant attention—just steady companionship. He’s neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has been on consistent flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He doesn’t shed, but he does need regular combing and grooming to keep his soft coat in great shape. He enjoys easy neighborhood walks and the chance to trot around in open spaces, knows basic commands (sit, stay, stop, etc.), and after a recent dental cleaning with a few teeth removed, he’s recovered beautifully—he simply prefers smaller bites now. An Application and Home Visit are required. Please note: we will not go beyond our 50-mile adoption radius! So 50 miles from Wylie. We are very adamant about this. Please consider Jack for a great addition to your family.

Story
Anna Anna’s Ideal Home: Anna is big energy in a little package. She needs playtime and walks and a yard where she can run. She loves other dogs and enjoys playtime with them. She even adjusts her play-style to fit her pal. Anna jumped into motherhood young so she has some catching up to do in her puppy skills. She still needs to learn all about “pet” life: leash-skills, mouthy play, chewing non-toy items. She already knows several commands. She’s smart, so she will learn with time and patience. She's a quick learner when treats are involved! When you have to leave for a bit, her crate keeps her safe and out of puppy-mischief. But she’d much rather have you home more often! She loved HER babies; other kids, not so much. She prefers teens to small children. Personality: Anna has finished raising her “Frozen” puppies. They’ve gone on to their homes and now it’s Anna’s turn. You may remember this sweet mama who carefully brought her newborn puppies to the porch of a DDR friend during a February ice storm. Needless to say, she’s devoted, smart, and resourceful. She knows exactly who to trust! She is very sweet and loving–and is protective of those she loves (she will bark to alert you that strangers are approaching). She loves to chew–antlers, yak chews, toys, even bushes or bark. This girl has the cutest, most enthusiastic zoomies. She will try to chase down small prey like squirrels or bunnies (no success yet–whew!). She’s auditioning for your shadow. Need company in the bathroom? Need someone to watch over your shoulder while you work or watch tv? She’s volunteering for duty. Anna is a girlie-girl–she loves to be groomed, dressed up, and fussed over. Neighborhood walks are her runway. Are You Anna’s Happily Ever After? Anna’s adoption fee is $650 . She is heartworm negative, current on all vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Anna a second chance. Story
OREO COOKIE Ideal Home: - Oreo is still fine-tuning his doodle skills. His ideal family will continue his training and socialization and welcome him into their daily routines. - He has learned that kids make terrific snuggle buddies, and they are just his size! - He will snuggle up with other chill dog-pals, but puppies are “too much” to be his vibe. - He’s learning to spend time in his crate and alone. He will settle down for short daytime stints and sleeps well overnight in his crate. But he’d much rather be your adventure-buddy and go along for the ride. Personality: - Oreo is sweet and snuggly. He’s happiest when his people are nearby. - He’s a chill, laidback dood who spends most of his day curled up snoozing close to his people. He does have spurts of energy around mealtimes and when playing. - He’s easy to love and a joy to have in a home. He’s a gentle presence and consistent source of love. - Oreo has a simple list of loves: snuggles and food. That’s all he needs to be happy! Is Oreo Cookie the Treat You Need? Oreo Cookie’s adoption fee is $650. He is current on vaccinations and HW/flea preventatives, HW negative, neutered, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Oreo Cookie a second chance. Story
Choc Choc was adopted in 2021. He came from a home where he was not allowed outside and used puppy pads regularly. He requires regular grooming. He is playful and needs someone with the time to give him the love and attention he so desperately needs. I am not able to do that for him any longer. I recently lost my son and will be relocating soon. Please help him! He is so sweet but is definitely a quirky dog!
