**NEW STRAY AS OF 04/04/26!** Is anyone missing a 2-3 year old unaltered male mini Goldendoodle mix that weighs around 30 Lbs.? He was found off of 1141 and John King on 04/04/26. No collar. No chip. He is currently on stray hold for the next 72 hours to allow his owners to claim him. If you recognize this pet, please call 972-771-7750 ext 2. Proof of ownership is required for reclaim! ALL PETS ON STRAY HOLD CAN NOT BE MET WITH OR ADOPTED WHILE ON STRAY HOLD. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Pictures will be posted when we have them. This sweet doodle came to us as a breeder release, which means life as a family pet is all brand new to them. They are still learning about the world outside of a kennel setting and will need a patient, understanding home that is willing to give them time to adjust and build confidence at their own pace. They do best with routine, gentle guidance, and positive reinforcement. While initially shy or unsure in new situations, their personality continues to shine more each day. Many breeder-release dogs thrive in homes with another friendly, confident dog to help show them the ropes. He is crate trained, does well with other dogs, but is not comfident with leash skills. They are not a “plug-and-play” dog and will need time to decompress, but with consistency and love, they become incredibly loyal and affectionate companions. Adopters should understand that adjustment can take several weeks or longer, and moments of insecurity or hesitation are normal during this transition. The reward is watching a dog learn what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family.
