Story
Don`t let the name fool you—Packing Peanut is not a tiny, delicate decoration! This little black mini poodle mix is more like the whole shipping department: busy, bouncy, and always in motion. At about a year old (possibly a bit younger) and 11 pounds, Peanut is packed full of energy, curiosity, and puppy antics. She loves toys, but she thinks hands are even more exciting, and she`s still learning that teeth and jumping aren`t the best ways to make friends. She`s looking for an adopter who will embrace her youthful enthusiasm and help channel it into good manners through training, structure, and lots of positive reinforcement.Packing Peanut is not a lap dog or a low-maintenance companion. She`s an active young dog who wants to play, learn, and be involved in whatever you`re doing. She`s still unsure about other dogs and tends to bark when she sees them, so she`ll need continued socialization and confidence-building. With time and patience, this little Peanut has all the ingredients to become a fantastic companion. Like any poodle mix, she`ll require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best. If you`re searching for a small dog with a big personality, a sense of humor, and enough energy to keep life interesting, Packing Peanut is ready to roll into your life and make herself impossible to ignore. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Est. DOB: 01/25/2024 Current Weight: 18lbs Adoption fee: $400 (per dog) (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Ozzy and Polar Bear are bonded poodle brothers searching for a forever home together. These sweet boys were surrendered when their previous owner felt they were simply too active for their lifestyle. Despite all the recent changes, both boys are settling in and showing their loving personalities more each day. Ozzy is the outgoing, fun-loving brother with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He enjoys attention, loves to play, and is always ready for an adventure or a game with his favorite people. Smart, curious, and energetic, Ozzy thrives with both physical activity and mental stimulation. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or learning new things, he is happiest when he gets to be part of the action. Polar Bear is the quieter, more shy brother who looks to Ozzy for reassurance and guidance. He tends to follow Ozzy’s lead and gains confidence when his brother is by his side. With patience, love, and a consistent routine, Polar Bear continues to come out of his shell and show his sweet nature. Both boys will need continued potty training reinforcement as they adjust to a new home and routine. They would do best with a family that understands young, active poodles and is committed to providing structure, exercise, and plenty of love. Ozzy and Polar Bear share a special bond and are hoping to find a home where they can continue life’s adventures together.
