Please meet Beautiful Mimi a 3 Year Old Schnauzer/Poodle that weighs 18 lbs. She is a sweet girl who needs someone to help her to blossom. We have worked with Mimi as she was not socialized very much previously. She was a stray through the Humane Society that came in very matted. She does get along with dogs her size (doesn't care for pups though). She would do great in a mainly adult house. She does walk on a leash and is learning manners. Mimi is vaccinated, microchip and spayed. Come on down to our Adoption Event at PetSmart located at 719 Sleater Kinney Road SE on Saturday, March 20, 2024 from 10 AM to 3 PM and Sunday, March 21, 2024 from 11 AM to 3 PM. All the dogs have vaccines, microchip and spayed/neutered.

Peter has been woofing his foster home but he's ready for a forever home! His fosters woofing him, check out what they have to say about him Peter is doing well - a shy boy is this one. Once he decides you're a good one he enjoys a good belly rub and a scratch behind the ears. Friendly with dogs and adults - have not interacted w any children yet so more to come. Appetite - it's growing! We are hoping to fatten him up. Walks well on a leash. Likes to ride shotgun in the car.

These darling, bonded buddies are sweet, funny and so charming! Charlie and Cody are a bonded pair of Poodle mixes, each weighing 12 lbs. Cody appears to be a poodle / Maltese and it looks like Charlie may also have some dachshund in the mix. Whatever they are, they are curly haired cuties that will keep you laughing with their antics. Charlie is about 8 years young. He is a silly boy that likes to talk to you. He also loves to wrestle and race through the backyard with Cody, and then he’ll come inside to roll around in his blankets til he finds just the right spot to take a nap. Sometimes he enjoys sleeping with his people and sometimes he’s grouchy so he prefers to sleep in his crate, always with the door open. Cody is about 3 years old. He is a very affectionate boy that prefers to always sleep with his people. Evening snuggles and belly rubs are required, too. He loves to play chase with Charlie, or he’ll grab a toy to toss and fetch. These darlings boys were found as strays in central Washington and were terribly neglected and in horrible condition. After they were shaved down, their adorable little faces emerged. And even though they also needed extensive vet care, their friendly, affectionate, happy little personalities also started to come through. Charlie had an injury that required his left eye to be removed. He also had an old injury to his jaw. Both are now very healthy pups that have also been neutered and fully vaccinated. They were very shy when first going into their first foster home, but within just a day, they were following their people around and asking for affection. They also were terrific with the other dogs in their foster home and would love to have another pooch in their pack. They love to spend their day running and playing with their foster siblings, and then it’s time to curl up together for a nap. At bedtime they will settle down in a crate together, but they prefer to sleep with their people. In their current foster home, they have learned even more inside manners. A retired couple would be just perfect for this sweet as can be pair. It’s time for them to find their forever home! They must have a fenced yard and their people must be experienced dog owners. As for kids, visiting grandchildren would be best.

Bruno has a skin condition that requires daily medication, and he prefers if you avoid touching his face, legs, or feet. Bruno would do best in a home without children, but he can have four legged siblings! He will make a loyal and loving companion for an adult who understand his boundaries Because Bruno was pulled from a shelter down in California, we are unsure of his exact age.

Meet King, the majestic poodle with a heart of gold! King is a people loving pup who thrives on human interaction, though he can be a bit shy at first. Kings charm shines through with his playful energy and affectionate nature. He adores his daily walks and playtime sessions but when its time to unwind he loves nothing more than to snuggle up for some quality cuddle time. Alongside his playful personality, King is a brave soul managing seizures and a heart disease. Thanks to lifelong daily medications and proper care, both conditions are stable and well-managed. King is microchipped, up to date on vaccines and neutered.

Becky she of been a result of covid being dumped or just not wanted anymore, who knows? How she ended up there we will never know, but what we do know is her death would of been a extremely cruel death but thankfully she was rescued by our wonderful rescuers before anything further could happen to her. The length of time she endured on the streets we can’t even imagine what she went through nor experienced. Thankfully one of the truly dedicated Chinese rescues who are outstanding rescuers rescued the beautiful Becky. This poor girl was so dirty, smelly, filthy & a emaciated & matted mess & that she is unrecognizable to the dog you see today. They took Becky & Hana to their facility & looked after Becky & we could not wait to change her future but covid had hit & the waiting began. Becky was taken to the vets to get her well & healthy. This became a very expensive situation with covid. We were finally able to bring everyone back through cargo which is an astronomical expense per dog, but we believe every sweet soul such as Becky & her friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Our very sweet Becky is now looking for that very magical forever home. Becky was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Becky was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home. Becky’s foster mum said she is another sweetheart & she & Hana follow her everywhere she goes & is so loyal, what another beauty she is, inside & out. But she is a lot more reserved & a bit more shyer but adores playing. It’s so stinking cute to see these pair laying with each other. We all love her so much to. She is also so easy to love & adore. She is so very patient & enjoys being with people along with dogs. She also enjoys a good treat now she knows what they are & she takes treats like a little lady. She has put on weight instantly since being in the rescue & has adjusted so well to being in the US. She still would need to put on more weight. Becky has done well walking on a harness & leash & done so well with us so far but would still need continued work. Becky is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Becky adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, cleaning her ears & grooming her, she loves being touched in general. She jumps at you when she wants or knows you are going to pick her up & she so enjoys being loved when you pick her up. Becky did really well with being bathed considering we don’t know how many times she has been bathed in the short time she has been on this earth. We have had her with many breeds of dogs & in her foster home she was fostered with Hana & they love each other so much & would play & play. She has done well with different size dogs & adores dogs & running & playing with them so that’s why she needs other dog friends in her new home. She is also still learning her puppy manners. We would like both these girls to stay together as they truly love each other. We have had Becky with both men & woman & she adores both. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Becky & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. She is making up for lost time & who could blame her. She adores sleeping in the bed with her foster mum so in forever home she needs a home where she can sleep with her family. Becky has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such a sweetheart of a little lady. She is so good in the car & enjoys a good journey. When we first got her in the US & drove her, she also slept & slept & it appears was making up for lost time. With Becky we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely sweetheart only because of her past. We are also looking for a forever home for Becky where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them. Becky is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding. She is now roughly 16.2 lbs & has put on quite a bit of weight since coming to the US & being with us in the rescue. Becky is spayed & female, she had a dental/scale & polish along with dental x-rays. She is heart worm negative, she is microchipped, up to date on her shots, had her shots including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed twice. We have spent far more on Becky with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare costs, alone bringing her through cargo, without anything else then on top of that paying for her medical care & boarding fees, including a dental/scale & polish & x-rays, spay, shots, medication for a uti, microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Becky has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had her around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats. But it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Becky was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & we do not know Becky’s exact birthday. But it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is. As with all of our rescues & Becky’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. How Jam ien survived on the deathly streets of China with his beloved brother Jie & nothing happening to them to this day we will never know. We cannot even begin to imagine what Jam ien witnessed & heard when he was on the streets for almost a week. What we do know is, that Jam ien kept his brother Jie safe & everywhere they went Jie would follow Jam ien & he more than likely kept him safe & alive. What we do know is, Jam ien & his bonded brother Jam ien were rescued off the streets by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the extremely dangerous situation he ended up in. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers they rescued Jam ien & many others for us. Without these beloved rescuer’s going & getting Jam ien from, the streets his fate would of been a horrendous death. They transferred Jam ien to their own rescue & covid had hit & the waiting began. Along with Jam ien & many other sweet souls they got well & they waited to come to the US. This became a very extremely expensive situation with covid. Lovely little chap Jam ien & his brother Jie have come such a long way since being rescued in China. They have really flourished & gotten so much more confident. It depends upon the person who he tends to like more, wether it is a female or male. The boys were in 2 foster homes & in 1 foster home they loved the foster dad over the foster mum & did everything with the foster dad & loved him & was not interested in the foster mum. Then in their other foster home they preferred the foster mum over the foster dad but still liked the foster dad. We think for Jam ien he needs a home with a backyard as in apartment living with the noises he just don’t do well with the different unknown noises but in a house would be ideal for them. Jam ien has enjoyed eating since he has been here in the US with all the new tasty food he gets but let’s face it, being fed the way we are feeding him is all new to him & just being fed all the time is new to him. He also enjoys a good treat. He has put on weight instantly since being in the rescue. Jam ien loves you once he knows you & trust you & will paw at you to get your attention or to be picked up. He & is brother are very similar but their personalities have changed & flourished since being with us.
