Story
PWRESCUE.ORG *Phoenix Metro Area Only* Meet Lady B – The Resilient Little Snugglebug! Lady B is a darling 3-year-old, 17-pound Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle mix) who came to us from Pima County Animal Shelter after surviving a tough start. She arrived as an injured stray with two fractured back legs. Pima repaired her left leg, and while recovering in foster care, this determined girl regained full use of the other one on her own! After joining Pathways, our vet gave her a clean bill of health (and she’s now spayed), and she’s been off and running—literally. She walks, runs, and even hops around with ease. Now that she’s feeling good, Lady B’s personality has truly blossomed. She’s a confident, cheerful, and incredibly sweet companion who adores being near her people. She gets along well with other dogs  Any children in the should be older (at least 12-14 years old) and have experience with dogs. We’re not sure yet how she feels about cats. Lady B would love a home with a fenced in yard to explore and relax in the sunshine.. She would love another dog to "hang" out with....she does like to play with other dogs in her foster home.  .She loves walks, cuddling on the couch for TV time, and wants simply be part of your daily life. She’s curious, alert, and always ready to let you know when something needs investigating—she takes her “watchdog” duties seriously, but in the cutest way. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and resilient little partner, Lady B is ready to love you with her whole heart. Lady B is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.  If you are interested in this little girl, please visit our website at:  https://pwrescue.org and click on the "Adoption Application" button at the top of the page to complete an application.Pathways Home Animal Rescue December 3, 2025, 8:14 pm

Story
Meet Scout — or as his foster family lovingly calls him, Scoop!    Why Scoop? Because this silly Schnoodle is currently rocking his post-neuter cone and using it like a built-in shovel. Dirt? Scoop. Rocks? Scoop. Weeds and flowers? Scoop scoop scoop. If it’s on the ground, this boy is collecting it like he’s on a treasure hunt.   At around 3 years old, Scout is the perfect mix of playful, sweet, and ridiculously easygoing. He gets along with every dog he meets — and he’s been tested! His current foster home includes 10 dogs ranging from teeny 8-pounders to giant 150-pound goofballs. Plus he’s unfazed by two “temperamental but harmless” resident kids (ages 13 and 17).   This boy is the full package: &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Kennel trained &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Leash trained &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Potty trained &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Not destructive (he can be left out with zero chaos!)   Scout/Scoop is sweet, social, hilarious, and ready for a forever family who will appreciate his charm — cone and all.    If you’re looking for a friendly, well-mannered, scoop-collecting sidekick, this Schnoodle is your guy! His adoption fee is $300 and he is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. To meet him text 602-908-6215.December 8, 2025, 11:45 am

Story
It’s Howl-oween and Hershey and Daisy are trick or treating for a forever home! Blue-eyed Daisy and her cookies-and-cream brother Hershey are 14 pounds of sugar and pumpkin spice, greeting every person they meet as a new best friend. While Hershey may not be able to see, and Daisy may not hear as well as she used to (though she can still hear you opening the cookie jar), none of that matters to them. They still explore their world side by side, whether that means a stroll through a spooky haunted house or a romp through the backyard. While they’re excited to welcome new people into their pack, they’ve been besties for so long that they prefer to be the only two pups in the house. At 7 years old, this dynamic duo will put a spell on you, and that’s just fine! So come to Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary and meet the fun-sized Wonder Twins, Hershey and Daisy! Good with: people, more people, cuddles, The Monster Mash, snacks, backyards or gardens where they can explore, doing the Time Warp again, classic 80s horror films Not good with: Other dogs. Why add to fluffy perfection? Housetrained: Daisy has it down flat, and Hershey is basically Sherlock Holmes: once he maps out the house in his head, he’ll remember where he needs to go to do his business Breed: Schnauzer mix Size: 14 lbs Gender: Female (Daisy), Male (Hershey)

Story
Meet Tony – the tiny dog with the huge personality! Tony’s a 12-year-old, 12-pound Schnauzer with a bit of Yorkie mix who still acts like a goofy pup. He loves toys, zipping around the house, and giving over-the-top greetings when you come home. He’s friendly with people and dogs of all sizes, and while he’s got Valley Fever, his meds keep him happy and full of energy. Tony’s foster mom says he’s a hilarious, toothless rascal—trying to chew toilet paper, climb into the fridge, and stick his head into cabinets. He’ll bark for more pets, play with the other dogs, and is learning housetraining fast. Smart, affectionate, and food-motivated, Tony’s ready to win your heart (and maybe your snacks). Breed - Yorkie Mix Size - Small Gender - Male Spay/Neuter/Shots - completed Good with - dogs and people

Why I`d make a great companion: ~Arf! My name is Penelope and I weigh 10 LBS! ~I’m the kind of dog who likes to take things slow. New people and new places can feel a little big and a little loud at first—but give me a few minutes (and a few gentle words), and you’ll see my sweetness bloom! ~Come and visit with me today if you`re looking for a teeny pup to add to the family!Type of home I`m looking for: ~A home with lots of love and affection! ~I have medical disclosures for exposure to parvovirus and CPMA treatment for Parvovirus. ~My adoption fee is: $350

Story
LITTLE MAX is a sweet sensitive little guy that is looking for his forever human best friend. He gets along well with other dogs but would not do well in a home with a very dominate dog as he would be afraid of them. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained LITTLE Max is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. LITTLE Max is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Max’s adoption fee is $300 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering (spay/neuter), all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! If you would like to be considered to for this adoption or any of our amazing rescues, please fill out the application with the help of this link. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AZST/Dog. We review each application carefully. Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.
