Allie is a lovely young schnauzer/poodle mix, about 20 pounds, and around 1 year old. She is a spayed female. At the shelter, Allie had her own pups! She is sweet anda little shy and very ready for post-pup life. Once she feels comfortable, her personality shines. She loves attention and her favorite activity is playing with other dogs, fetch, people, and a very good belly rub. She will be available for adoptions in mid-August once she completes her basic obedience training through our program. She will know her basic commands and will be crate and potty trained, as well as up to date on her shots.

Hi There!! Lucy Here, born in rescue in 2014 with 7 other siblings to our Mama Mercedes. I am a sweet girl, very quiet and loving, gentle, obedient and good on leash and love long walks and can walk 3 miles! I love car rides and outdoor dining with you as we are well behaved!. I was available for adoption with my brother Chuck, we looked alike in our faces but not our body, Rescue thinks that Mom was a Puggle and Dad a Schnauzer. All us puppies and Mama were adopted in 2014, we had a family of our own to share, a Mom, Dad our own little girl and a fur sister...We were happy....Then, Our family returned my brother and I to the rescue June 2019, 5yrs later! Why? Because our Dad adopted a pitbull after they adopted us, and they already had a King Charles Cavalier... Why did he do that? who knows ... and that dog was picking on my brother Chuck, and human Mom was too stressed out to handle a new baby and the attacks... So we came back to our Rescuer in search of a loving, quiet home to retire in and take our walks.... we were in foster care a long time till our foster parents decided to travel, and then we became semi permanent residents of our rescuer… my sweet brother Chuck recently crossed over rainbow bridge and I am alone now… I would love nothing more than to be with an active Elder person or couple that takes walks and enjoys my company…. I’m a diamond in the rough I may not be beautiful outside but I’m beautiful inside I’m loyal, dedicated, and obedient… Will you let me spend my final chapters with you? Since arriving in her foster home, she has been adapting beautifully and has quickly become a devoted little companion. She loves being near her people and happily follows her foster mom from room to room, always wanting to be part of the action. Sweet Pea gets along well with the resident dog and has been a lovely houseguest. She appears to be potty trained, consistently doing her business outside and keeping her kennel clean. She sleeps comfortably in her crate at night, which she seems to enjoy, and has not had any accidents. She is also a great eater and has settled into her routine with ease. One area where Sweet Pea is still gaining confidence is walking on a leash. She isn’t quite sure about it yet and tends to put on the brakes when the leash comes out. Her foster family is working with her daily, and with patience, encouragement, and positive experiences, she is already making progress. Sweet Pea is a sweet, affectionate little dog who is ready to find a family of her own. She will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend to share life’s everyday moments with.
