Story
Meet our handsome boy, Martin. He is a mix of mini schnauzer, poodle and yorkie. The best things come in threes, meet your perfect schnauzerdoodleorkie! He turned a year-old March 4, 2025, and currently weighs 13 pounds full grown. He is neutered, microchipped, UpToDate on all his vaccines and had a fecal sample sent out which came back negative. The vet cleared him and is now ready to find a home all his own. He is house trained and goes outside when asked to every few hours throughout the day. We did have to switch him to a sensitive stomach food and start him on probiotics since he was having some tummy trouble at first. Since then, his digestion has totally balanced out and his potty habits have been perfectly on track. He's done amazing with a consistent routine and hasn't had a single accident with us. He is crate-trained and sees his crate as a safe comfy space. He sleeps soundly through the night without a peep and settles in easily when you need to step out. Of course, he'd happily ditch the crate for a spot next to you in bed if that's what you prefer. He is also leash trained and loves exploring the world around him. He's curious and enjoys a good stroll just as much as a full-on yard zoomie session. If you love to jog, Martin will keep up and it's a great way to burn off some of his playful energy. Martin Thrives on affection from his humans and will happily curl up next to you after a long day. He's smart, eager to learn, and picks up on commands quickly. He will do almost anything for some treats. Martin's journey to our rescue wasn't an easy one. He was originally adopted as a puppy by a family who adored him but soon realized they weren't prepared for the responsibility of a young dog. As their schedules became busier, Martin spent more and more time alone, without the attention and engagement he needed. Wanting the best for him, they made the difficult decision to surrender him to our rescue, hoping we could find him a family that will give him the life he deserves. His Adoption fee is $1500. It covers all veterinarian costs and the care/training since he has been with us. Located in Hesperia, CA. We offer out-of-state adoptions and can arrange transportation to your location, provided that the transport expenses are covered. Get in touch with us today and share details about yourself, the loving home you can provide, and your experience with the breed. We will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you!

This is a courtesy posting, if interested in Maddie contact Patty at olliesmom000@gmail.com. Maddie is located in El Monte CA. Please note Miniature Schnauzers & Friends Rescue bears no responsibility for any adoptions or contacts made through courtesy postings. Maddie - 9 year old female Miniature Schnauzer. Maddie has soft tissue sarcoma on her left paw. She has had two surgeries to remove it but it will continue to grow back. She may need an amputation in the future. Sadly because of her medical issues, her family needs to rehome her as they would be unable provide her with the post surgery care (having two young children). Maddie is a very sweet dog, she loves to cuddle and loves attention. She loves walks and sometimes playing catch. She is friendly with all other animals and little kids. She can be a barker when she sees new people or animals because she gets very excited. She has lived with her fur companion for the past 9 years and is very attached, it would be best if she has a fur companion. She is only about 23 pounds. Maddie is currently living in El Monte CA. If interested in adopting Maddie and if you can care for her, please contact her owner Patty at olliesmom000@gmail.com.

Story
❗ Current Location: South Korea❗ • Personality: She's sociable and energetic. She adapts to new places right away and loves to reach out to new people and friends she meets. She knows how to say hello to familiar people and friends. She loves to play with other dogs and loves to play with people. She picks up on new training quickly, so we think she would make a great dog for a family with a good understanding and training knowledge of dogs. She's a bit of a sneaky prankster right now, so she can get into trouble, but she's affectionate, gentle, and full of energy. • Affinity with: -Cats: She currently lives with cats in a temporary foster home. She is not aggressive with cats but is very interested in them, so if you have a cat that likes dogs, she would be fine. -Dogs: She is currently living with the dogs in her foster home without any issues. They play well with each other, are socialized, and warm up quickly to new dogs they meet. -Adults/Kids: She is very fond of people and loves to be petted. She warms up quickly to people she meets for the first time. • Shedding: Moderate. There is shedding in certain periods. Her fur is best brushed daily with a silicone brush. • Walking Manner: She loves to go for walks, both familiar and new, and prefers to take fast, wide, territorial walks (rather than slow, sniffing the trails). He also loves to run in the park, but will sometimes try to run outside if there is no fence. She is fast and has a lot of energy, so she loves to run around in large parks and meet people and dogs. She also loves to go for walks in the mountains, but she has a hunting instinct and is interested in small snakes, rodents, and birds. • Housetrained: She goes potty on pee pads and highly prefers to go outside. She can chew on wood or plastic furniture and grab small items fallen on the floor and play with them. She's very playful and will run around with you if you have a like-minded friend in the house. • Separation Anxiety: She's always been around other dogs, so we can't confirm, but we think she'll be fine on her own. • Bark or Howl: She barks briefly when she hears strangers outside. There is no howl • Carsickness: She had drooling at first, but now she rides well.

Story
Meet Peter! Peter is a small, white Mini Schnauzer mix with a lot of personality packed into his little frame. Rescued from the shelter just in time, Peter has been given a second chance at life, and now we’re looking for his perfect forever home. Peter’s ideal adopter is an experienced dog owner who understands that some dogs need a little extra care and patience. Peter has shown some bite tendencies, and while we’re working with a trainer to understand his triggers, it’s important to be mindful of his boundaries. He doesn’t like being picked up and prefers not to be pet unless he comes to you first. When he feels safe and comfortable, Peter can be snuggly and affectionate—but it’s always on his terms. He is good with other dogs, so a canine companion could be a great fit for him. However, because of his biting history, Peter should not be in a home with children. Peter isn’t just a dog—he’s a work in progress who needs someone willing to invest time, patience, and love into helping him thrive. In the right home, Peter’s personality will shine, and he’ll reward you with loyalty and companionship. If you’re the experienced, patient adopter Peter needs, please fill out an application on our website. Peter is waiting for someone to see the good dog he truly is and help him live his best life.

Story
Meet Remi – A Gentle Soul on the Mend, Ready for His Forever Home 💛🐾 Remi's story is one of quiet resilience and hope. This sweet boy is Chelsea’s (Harper) brother, and when his family reached out for help, we knew we had to step in. Remi came to us in heartbreaking condition—covered in fleas, suffering from painful skin trauma, and battling anemia likely caused by the severe infestation. Shortly after arriving, Remi began vomiting and experiencing diarrhea. To our shock, he even threw up two pieces of fabric 😞. We rushed him in for X-rays to rule out a blockage. While no full obstruction was found, remnants of foreign material are still in his system. He’s now receiving round-the-clock care, including IV fluids, GI protectants, and ongoing hospitalization to monitor his recovery closely. Despite everything, Remi remains incredibly sweet and gentle. He’s already had his first medicated bath and is starting treatment for his skin—his road to healing is just beginning, but his spirit is already shining through. Remi is amazing with other dogs, loves to cuddle, and is happiest lounging by your side. He may have been neglected in the past, but all this boy wants now is love, comfort, and a safe place to call home. Remi is: 🐶 Friendly with other dogs 🛌 A champion snuggler and nap buddy 🩺 Receiving continued treatment for skin healing 💛 Deserving of a family to show him what true love feels like Remi’s forever family will be part of his healing journey—and his biggest cheerleaders as he becomes the healthy, happy dog he was always meant to be. Apply to adopt Remi today and give him the safe, loving home he’s waited so long for.

Story
Hi, my name is Punky! I’m a 4 year old, 10 lb, neutered black terrier mini Shnauzer mix who was found wandering as a stray all alone in San Bernardino. I’m a happy boy who loves to cuddle and get belly rubs from my human. I love car rides and going on walky walks around my neighborhood. I’m up-to-date on all my vaccinations. My foster mommy says that I adjusted very well to an eating (I’m a good eater) and sleeping schedule right away. I’m good with other dogs and have become friends with the 2 cats in my foster home. I have separation anxiety and cry when I’m by myself, but I’m fine and content when someone is around. I’m very playful, love to run chasing my ball and playing with my squeaky toys. I’m friendly to humans when they come over after I bark and smell them. I have to get to know new people and then I’m good with them. Punky is being crate trained and being given basic training due to resource guarding. Located in Redlands, CA If you live in southern California and would like to meet handsome Punky, please fill out an application on Dream Team Angels Rescue's website: https://dreamteamangelsrescue.com/adopt
