Story
This adorable duo were found in a very remote area in Arkansas. Unbelievably shy, they have gradually started coming out of their shell, and their personalities are beginning to blossom. Both are quick to smile and love the attention they are getting.  They are very affectionate and love belly rubs, squeaky toys, and chasing the other pups around the yard. Although they can be active, they also love to lay on the couch and watch television. They are not hyperactive at all. Both boys are crate trained and potty trained. They are young, so they still want to get into mischief such as chewing up socks. So before submitting an application, be aware that they are young and will need more training. Neither one has a dominant personality, they're both very low-key and get along great with other dogs and together. Both do very well while taking a bath. Benji is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Andy. They both weigh under 30 pounds and probably will not grow to be much larger. As much as we would love to see them go together as a bonnet pair, we realize that may not be possible. So we are willing to adopt them out separately. If someone would like to adopt them as a bonded pair, we will be happy to take off $150 off of the adoption fee. Currently they're being fostered on a farm in Arkansas. Transport is available to New England. Their adoption fee is $450 each, which includes the cost of transport. Andy and Benji are both heartworm negative, up-to-date on all core vaccinations, and microchipped. Both are afraid of kids and cats.  ##2559637##

Story
Harry is a 7-year old 27 lbs incredibly adorable schnauzer borderterrier mix. Harry survived Yulin one of the worst horrors imaginable. As a result he is understandably reserved with humans and will need time to open up and trust humans. Harry loves the other dogs in his foster home so having a friendly playful confident dog may be good for him. His foster mom Michelle says:  “Harry is the best house guest! He easily fell into our routine with all our dogs, whom he absolutely loves being with. He is fully house trained and has never had an accident in the house. He loves to be outside in the yard and squirrel watch. Harry is unsure of humans but we earn his trust with high valued treats and food. He gets very excited and loves to eat! Harry has come so far since he came to us last month. Harry needs someone who will be patient with him and offer lots of love and time to acclimate. I feel he would do best with a fur sibling to guide him. Watching Harry learn and feel part of a family has been so rewarding to witness… and who could resist those muppet feet of his!" Harry must have a home with a securely fenced backyard in a suburban neighborhood not an apt or a loud city environment for obvious reasons. His adoption fee is $275. Harry is vaccinated and microchipped.  We require adopters to have a safe and secure backyard - not electric or Fido fences as they are not as safe at containing dogs or keeping other animals or people out. For these reasons we do not adopt to homes with electric or Fido fencing.
