This unbelievably darling, scruffy little muppet is Poteet! When this amazing baby boy and his siblings came into rescue everyone was immediately smitten! This snuggly scruffy little love immediately curled up in everyone’s arms and melted! He thankfully went straight to an incredible foster home where he’s been raised with tons of love while on a search for his forever home! This sweetheart is about 12 weeks old and has just had all of his medical work completed! Hes on the more petite medium side, estimated to grow between 30-40 lbs. He’s current on vaccines, deworming, and preventative. He has also been microchipped and neutered! He’s a happy healthy little guy and he’s ready to begin his new life! This darling little muffin is thriving in foster care! He immediately makes fast friends with every pup he meets. He loves to play with new friends and siblings, happy to frolic outside in the warm weather and enjoy life! He has been raised with cats and is great with them. He’s also fantastic with children! He has an outgoing, social, loving temperament and is also super intelligent! He’s picked up house training quick and is reliably going potty outside. He loves to play with his toys and stuffies. This little doll has such a sweet, tender temperament and and is just a happy go lucky, loving peanut. He would love a home with parents who would like to take him for walks and car rides, where he can have some dog friends and lots of snuggling! Story
Welcome Ariel to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 5-pound Chihuahua mixed with mini schnauzer. She has the look of the Schnauzer and is semi fluffy. She should be 10 pounds or less full grown. Her mom looks exactly like a high mixed schnauzer. Ariel is semi fluffy coated and while she likes being held, she is playful. She is crate trained, good with his siblings, good in a car and uses potty pads. She isn’t overly vocal and is less assertive than some in her pack. She is the smallest in the pack. She has a feminine stance and she is a marshmallow. She is not a shedder at all that we can see. Her coat is soft and flat and the schnauzer in her will make her less of a shedding dog as she grows up. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older, due to her small size. Puppies are best with someone not working all day every day. She needs time with her human and time to finish up her puppy training. She is small enough and social, so he would be a good one to take places with you. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Meet little Buddy! He is a 10 pound, approximately 4 year old, Schnauzer mix. After his loving owner passed away, Buddy was thrown into the backyard by relatives who did not care for him properly. Fortunately, he survived the hot Arkansas summer & was relinquished to rescue.  Our little Buddy is doing great in his foster home, enjoying playtime with 3 other small dogs.  He thoroughly enjoys toys, lounging at home, & taking car rides. Buddy loves playing outside & is very inquisitive about his surroundings. A fenced-in yard is recommended to keep him safe. In his foster home, all dogs are fed seperately. However, Buddy does a great job waiting for treats when given alongside the other dogs. While Buddy does well with other small dogs, he is not a fan of cats. A feline-free home is best for this little guy. He has a history of nipping when playing with squeaky toys (if they are taken from him, he will try to keep them). Due to getting overstimulated, these toys are not recommended. Although a home without young children or grandchildren would be the ideal environment for Buddy, he would do well with adults of any age. Buddy gets along well with both men and women. This sweet little fella loves to be held & has the most playful personality! He is definitely a joy to love on. Also of note, Buddy had several teeth removed during his recent dental visit. His little tongue sticks out at times, especially while sleeping. When super relaxed, he sometimes looks like he has two little fangs! It is truly adorable to see! Buddy is crate-trained, does well with a harness, & is using the doggy door as well as potty pads in his foster home (infrequent accidents). His foster mom is available to answer any questions.  Little Buddy is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, & heartworm negative. His adoption fee for New England adopters is $500, which includes transport to New England & a health certificate from his veterinarian. His local adoption fee is $175 (no transportation or health certificate). ##2580863##

Story
This adorable duo were found in a very remote area in Arkansas. Unbelievably shy, they have gradually started coming out of their shell, and their personalities are beginning to blossom. Both are quick to smile and love the attention they are getting.  They are very affectionate and love belly rubs, squeaky toys, and chasing the other pups around the yard. Although they can be active, they also love to lay on the couch and watch television. They are not hyperactive at all. Both boys are crate trained and potty trained. They are young, so they still want to get into mischief such as chewing up socks. So before submitting an application, be aware that they are young and will need more training. Neither one has a dominant personality, they're both very low-key and get along great with other dogs and together. Both do very well while taking a bath. Benji is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Andy. They both weigh under 30 pounds and probably will not grow to be much larger. As much as we would love to see them go together as a bonnet pair, we realize that may not be possible. So we are willing to adopt them out separately. If someone would like to adopt them as a bonded pair, we will be happy to take off $150 off of the adoption fee. Currently they're being fostered on a farm in Arkansas. Transport is available to New England. Their adoption fee is $450 each, which includes the cost of transport. Andy and Benji are both heartworm negative, up-to-date on all core vaccinations, and microchipped. Both are afraid of kids and cats.  ##2559637##
