Story
Hi, I’m Sparrow “Chip,” but honestly Chip is way easier to yell across a room. I’m a 12-pound Mini Schnauzer mix with fancy white-and-silver fur, I am almost 4 years old, and I have the energy of someone who just had three espresso shots. I’m a happy little guy who thinks basically everything is exciting. New people? Amazing. Walks? Incredible. Snacks? Life-changing. Random leaf blowing across the yard? You better believe I’m interested. I’m super affectionate, love attention, and would very much enjoy being involved in whatever you’re doing at all times. I’ve got a goofy personality, a waggy tail, and strong potential to become your tiny bearded sidekick. Since a lot of this whole “pet dog” thing is still pretty new to me, I’m looking for a patient human who can help show me the ropes while appreciating my very important talents, like being adorable and enthusiastically existing. If you’ve been searching for a funny little buddy with good vibes, soft fur, and zero concept of personal space, I might just be your guy. Adoption fee is: $375 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. Story
Meet Shadow Jayden, a 5-year-old, 13-pound Schnauzer mix with a complex heart and a story that’s still unfolding. Shadow came to us from another shelter and has been struggling to feel safe and settled in the kennel environment. Shadow is a highly fearful and reactive dog who finds new people and situations overwhelming. He is especially reactive around barriers. Because of this, Shadow will need a very experienced, patient, and dog-savvy adopter or rescue partner who understands how to work with fear-based behaviors. While he’s doing okay with his potty training, he’ll need continued consistency and a calm, structured environment to thrive. Leash training has been challenging due to his reactivity, and he will need slow, positive reinforcement to help him feel more secure. Shadow Jayden isn’t ready for the average home—but with the right person who’s willing to give him time, space, and understanding, we believe there’s potential for him to begin healing. He needs someone who sees beyond his fear and is committed to helping him feel safe in a world that’s been very scary so far. Adoption fee is: $100 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. 🐾 Meet Reginald “Rex” 🐾 Reginald Rex is a handsome 24- pound Schnauzer mix with a distinguished grey and brown coat and a quiet, gentle spirit. After spending years reportedly roaming a neighborhood, Rex has finally found his way to safety with CAMO Rescue — and he’s ready for a fresh start with a loving forever family. Rex is a soft, shy boy who is still learning that the world can be kind. He takes his time warming up to new people and new situations, but his calm, gentle nature shines through once he feels comfortable. There’s a quiet sweetness to him that makes you want to earn his trust and be the one he leans on. He appears to be potty trained and has been doing well as he settles into a more stable routine. With patience, reassurance, and a peaceful home, Rex is sure to continue blossoming into a devoted companion. Now that he’s finally safe, Rex is hoping for a family who will move at his pace, give him the comfort he’s been missing, and show him what it means to truly belong. In return, he’ll offer quiet loyalty, soft affection, and a bond that grows stronger every day. If you have room in your heart for a gentle soul who is ready for his second chance, Reginald Rex may be your perfect match. 🖤 Adoption fee is: $350 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract.
