Story
Introducing Wiley Riley... because every good love story starts a little slow. If you're looking for the kind of dog that'll meet you once and immediately demand to be carried around like royalty, Riley would like to politely decline. She's a one-year-old Yorkie mix who likes to take her time getting to know new people, especially men. With women, she tends to warm up a little faster, but Riley believes trust is something that's earned—not rushed. She's looking for someone who understands that the very best relationships aren't always love at first sight. If you're patient enough to let Riley come to you, you'll earn something much more rewarding: a loyal little companion who genuinely chooses you. Riley's perfect Saturday is refreshingly simple. Sleep in a little, toss a ball or stick around the living room or backyard, enjoy a lazy afternoon at home, and spend the evening curled up together. She's not looking to train for a marathon or spend every weekend on the go. She's perfectly happy just hanging out with her favorite person. One of the best things about Riley? She's wonderfully easy to live with. She's house trained, doesn't need hours of exercise to be happy, and is content with a relaxed lifestyle. Riley would thrive with someone who appreciates the quiet dogs—the ones who don't steal the spotlight but slowly steal your heart instead. If you've ever said, "I just want a little buddy to keep me company," Riley may be exactly the dog you've been waiting for. Think you might be Riley's person? Apply to meet her today. She won't fall in love in five minutes... but she just might fall in love forever. Also available to be transported to the PNW with an extra $200 fee.

Story
Bubble Boy may be small, but his story is big. This little geriatric Maltese mix has clearly had it rough. When he arrived, he was severely matted, uncomfortable, and in pain, carrying the weight of long-term neglect on his tiny frame. But beneath the tangles and tenderness is a gentle soul who is finally getting his chance to feel safe. He's gotten a haircut and is ready to find himself a foster or adopter to help him spend his golden years in the comfort of a home. Despite all he’s been through, Bubble Boy has a quiet sweetness about him. He may be unsure at first — and who could blame him? — but with slow, gentle care, he leans in just a bit closer, showing us that his heart is still open and hopeful. 💛 What Bubble Boy Needs This special senior needs an adopter who can offer: Patience and sensitivity as he decompresses A calm, loving home free of chaos Regular grooming to keep him comfortable moving forward Ongoing veterinary care and lots of TLC as he heals and regains comfort Right now, Bubble Boy isn’t ready for long walks or big adventures. What he needs most is someone who can give him warmth, security, and the chance to finally relax. We wouldn't recommend him to live with kids, but think he could live with another animal that isn't too high energy and just coexists with him.
