Story
Meet Milo, a precious 5 year old, 9 pound Yorkie Mix being fostered in Austin, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. Milo is as sweet as pie and will be the perfect addition to any family! He's friendly to everyone and loves people (grown ups and kids) and other dogs. Milo is around 5 years old and about nine pounds. He has the energy for long walks and chasing squirrels in the yard but also enjoys leisurely naps and cuddles with his people. Milo would love to sleep in your bed at night and promises not to take up much room or wake you up! Hes a perfect gentleman during bath time and brushing. Milo is a kind and gentle pup who handles a high traffic home well and looks forward to greeting your guests with love and attention. Do be careful with opening the front door though as he can sometimes try for an unexpected outdoor adventure. If you choose Milo, you'll get a loving companion who enjoys adventure and relaxing on the couch with cuddles and love.

Story
Bubble Boy may be small, but his story is big. This little geriatric Maltese mix has clearly had it rough. When he arrived, he was severely matted, uncomfortable, and in pain, carrying the weight of long-term neglect on his tiny frame. But beneath the tangles and tenderness is a gentle soul who is finally getting his chance to feel safe. He's gotten a haircut and is ready to find himself a foster or adopter to help him spend his golden years in the comfort of a home. Despite all he’s been through, Bubble Boy has a quiet sweetness about him. He may be unsure at first — and who could blame him? — but with slow, gentle care, he leans in just a bit closer, showing us that his heart is still open and hopeful. 💛 What Bubble Boy Needs This special senior needs an adopter who can offer: Patience and sensitivity as he decompresses A calm, loving home free of chaos Regular grooming to keep him comfortable moving forward Ongoing veterinary care and lots of TLC as he heals and regains comfort Right now, Bubble Boy isn’t ready for long walks or big adventures. What he needs most is someone who can give him warmth, security, and the chance to finally relax. We wouldn't recommend him to live with kids, but think he could live with another animal that isn't too high energy and just coexists with him.

Story
Meet Sophie, an adorable 11 month old, 12 pound Yorkie Mix being fostered in Austin, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. Update 1/6/26: A month after getting Sophie, she has proven to be a total love bug! And, my goodness, those ears! She is very energetic and loves to run around the yard. She is very playful with our dogs, and will even chase our 90lb dog around the yard; it is the cutest thing to watch! She also does great on car rides, and absolutely loves our kids. She is shy around new people, but with some patience, she warms up and the love you get from her is so rewarding. Sophie loves treats, so that has been a great way to help her get comfortable. Beware, if you sit down, you will have a dog in your lap. And if you get up, you will have a little white shadow following you wherever you go. Initial Bio 12/9/25: Sophie was shy and skittish when she first came to me, but spent most of the next day on my lap! She hasn't had any accidents in the house and slept in her kennel with no complaints. She's very friendly with my small dog and my daughter, and I'm sure the dogs will be playing in no time! She has also helped herself to the toy bin. She's very treat-motivated, and just in the short time I've had her, she's almost got sit (and wait for her turn) down. She's a sweet little dog!
