Story
Dixon is a tiny guy who appears to be a Yorkie mix — or at least that’s our best guess! Beneath his slightly scruffy exterior is a little dog just waiting to shine. Dixon would absolutely love a bath and a fresh haircut, and once he’s all cleaned up, we’re pretty sure he’s going to feel like a million bucks. This adorable little fur ball is new to WAG, so we are still getting to know his personality and all the special things that make him unique. Stay tuned for more updates as Dixon settles in and shows us more of his charming self. Story
Once belonged to my mother, she can no longer care for, is a well-behaved and predictable dog with her own unique preferences and quirks. While she generally prefers the company of adults, she’s quite comfortable with children, especially those around 8-teen age. She doesn’t mind being petted and even enjoys sitting next to them. Just give her time.Chloe is quite observant and will follow you everywhere you go, keeping a close eye on your activities. She has learned several commands, including sit, stay, bath time, go outside, no, here (when giving a treat), and come here (when pointing towards you) and also bed. She has a preference for pedigree dry and wet dog food.Chloe knows when it’s time to go outside. She enjoys wandering around the yard occasionally, but she generally prefers to stay indoors. However, she can be quite sensitive to loud noises, especially when kids play loudly or lawnmowers are running. In such situations, she may bark until the noise subsides.

Story
Bubble Boy may be small, but his story is big. This little geriatric Maltese mix has clearly had it rough. When he arrived, he was severely matted, uncomfortable, and in pain, carrying the weight of long-term neglect on his tiny frame. But beneath the tangles and tenderness is a gentle soul who is finally getting his chance to feel safe. He's gotten a haircut and is ready to find himself a foster or adopter to help him spend his golden years in the comfort of a home. Despite all he’s been through, Bubble Boy has a quiet sweetness about him. He may be unsure at first — and who could blame him? — but with slow, gentle care, he leans in just a bit closer, showing us that his heart is still open and hopeful. 💛 What Bubble Boy Needs This special senior needs an adopter who can offer: Patience and sensitivity as he decompresses A calm, loving home free of chaos Regular grooming to keep him comfortable moving forward Ongoing veterinary care and lots of TLC as he heals and regains comfort Right now, Bubble Boy isn’t ready for long walks or big adventures. What he needs most is someone who can give him warmth, security, and the chance to finally relax. We wouldn't recommend him to live with kids, but think he could live with another animal that isn't too high energy and just coexists with him.

Story
This sweet little guy has already been through more than most dogs his age, and he’s looking for a calm, patient foster home where he can finally start to feel safe. At just 1 year old, this Maltese boy is learning what it means to be cared for. He came into the shelter with severe matting and a serious injury to his left front leg, including a wound and fracture. He’s on the road to healing now and is doing great with eating (he loves his chicken and rice!) and resting, but he still needs help continuing his recovery. He’s a sensitive pup who is very under-socialized and easily overwhelmed, so right now the world feels like a scary place. Because of this, he can be reactive when handled—he’s not trying to be difficult, just trying to protect himself. With time, patience, and a quiet environment, he has the potential to build trust and show his true personality. He’s not ready for playgroups or busy environments yet—what he needs most is stability, gentle care, and someone who understands that progress may be slow but meaningful. Despite everything he’s been through, he’s already showing resilience. With the right foster, this little dog has a real chance to heal—both physically and emotionally—and eventually become a wonderful companion.
