Keene, hound / mountain cur, 2-3 yo, 48 lb, neutered maleKeene is good natured and calm.  He is tactful and a little shy at first and looks the other way when you directly talk to him, but this is only at first. He gets deeply attached and can almost read your mind. He is a true companion, so nice to have around. Good with dogs with proper introduction. Loves car rides and does not miss a chance to jump in a car and stay there. Was saved by the efforts of several rescuers, a lot of people rooted for him. Adoption fee $325. And I'm rocking the social scene for my age. They say I'm a Mountain Cur mix, but what I know for sure is I'm the lovable kind! At 7 months old, I'm ready to charm you, vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. Come on over, let's make friends and dive into some serious playtime fun! Hi! I'm CJ, and I'm a 50 pound cattle dog mix, about 5 years old. I like everyone I meet, canine or human. No one is a stranger to me! My favorite things:-Making canine and human friends-Belly rubs, naps, and cuddling-Food!-Walks with stops to smell things. What I'm looking for in a home:-Another dog friend! (preferred but not required)-Either a yard, or someone that enjoys spending time outside and lets me sniff around-People who are home a lot and wont leave me alone too much! I'm the bestest boy and am ready to settle into the next part of my life! I do well in a kennel if my dog friend is next to me, I walk nicely on leash, know a few tricks, and do the best full body wiggle when I see you!  Do I sound like the buddy for you?! My adoption fee is $250 and I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. I have genetically bad hips and the rescue is in the process of fixing them for me.
