Jack is a gorgeous boy! He hopes to find a family that can accommodate s slow acclimation period to his new home. He will benefit from a well-established relationship with family members before expanding his social circle. He loves to shred stuffed toys and hasn't turned down a dog treat in the shelter yet!Jack greets our volunteers with a loose, wiggly hello, thrilled to head out for his daily walks. Once outside, he settles into a polite, easy rhythm - attentive and checking in often, taking treats with the gentlest nibble. He's a wonderful snuggler who leans in for affection and loves using his nose to search for hidden treats. He lights up with pride when he finds each one!Jack will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age and as the only dog in his new home. Story
Shady is 13 y/o with more years ahead! We love her dearly & have shared many wonderful memories since we adopted her at 1.5. She loves nothing more than chasing a ball & exploring & is a healthy senior pup! She is loyal & protective with the sweetest eyes & soul. She is an anxious girl & this can make her territorial. As a result, she should be the only dog in the house. We are making the deeply painful decision to seek a new home for her as we truly think it is selfish to keep her in an increasingly restrictive environment at our home. Shady wasn't thrilled when we expanded our family with kids back in 2020 & despite lots of different approaches to have her around our kids, we are unable to safely do so. As we prepare to welcome a 3rd baby into our small home, she will be isolated & alone for significant chunks of time & we want a better life for her. She has so much love to offer & deserves an environment where she can be comfortable & thrive. We know we can no longer provide that.

Twister is a beautiful, friendly girl who has been through more than most—and come out the other side as a happy, social dog ready for her forever home. She’s great with dogs of all sizes, enjoys group walks, and is also good with cats. She’s the kind of dog who easily becomes your companion and fits into daily life. Once she was safe, she quickly showed her true personality—affectionate, easygoing, and eager to connect. She thrives in a social environment and would do well in a home with other pets or regular activity. Good fit: someone looking for a friendly, social dog who enjoys companionship and being part of everyday life. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back.
