Hi! I'm the best girl Jade!Volunteers and staff adore me! I'm a playful girl who loves my humans. Like to walk? That's me! Play fetch? That's me! Sit on the couch for hours and watch TV? I like that too! Seriously, look how darling I am! I am back at the shelter due to my adopter moving, so no fault of me. They loved me and said I was a good girl but was unable to keep me. I can be a bit shy and need some time to warm up to new people. Baby talk and treats help. Because I'm shy, no little bitty kids under the age of 10. I can be selective of other dogs but do like to play with them. We always recommend a slow intro keeping toys and food separate until both dogs are comfortable. I'm potty trained, know sit and have very good manners. Please come in and check me out. I'm patiently waiting!Xoxo, Jade

Super sweet, well trained, LOVES food haha (never table fed). He is potty trained, is very snuggly, will sleep in a crate (or bed). I am unfortunately allergic to his short hair. He would do best in a home without small children as he isn’t very tolerant of kids pulling/climbing on him or trying to take his toys. He hasn’t ever bit a child but he does become vocal about his irritation if he is over stimulated by them.

I rescued Harley from my former neighborhood outside of Indianapolis (Camby) and we have been fostering him since. He needs a loving home with someone who loves dog snuggles! He isn’t very vocal, except when it is food/treat time. Harley is as fast as lightning when playing but also slows down to snuggle and watch movies. He makes a great companion!! Kirsch is an 18 month old female Plott hound mix. She was rescued from shelter as time was running out for her. Kirsch is an affectionate, loving dog. She LOVES to play and most of the time, has a toy in her mouth. Kirsch likes to wrestle with other dogs her size and then crashes on the couch to recharge. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She would love an active family to match her energy, and because of that, she would do best with older children. She does need a fenced yard. Kirsch walks well on a leash and is both crate and house trained. Kirsch had a cherry eye on the left eye, which was surgically corrected, but it does occasionally become red. Johnny is the star of the show. Working on his debut as the world's best puppy. He is currently working on, and mastering being housetrained. He is already crate trained and enjoys his quiet time by laying in the sun or chewing on a toy. But like all puppies he is eager to learn and play. Due to being young, we prefer that Johnny is adopted within a household with other dogs. However, if that isn't a current option, we would require a socialization plan. Johnny is also learning his role of good-boy on his daily walks. Grace is approximately 2-3 years old and 35 - 40 lbs. She was found as a stray in Speedway and within 24 hours was undergoing emergency spay surgery for pyometra. She bounced back quickly and is fully healthy now. Grace can be timid at first, but once she warms up to you she doesn't leave your side. She has a special affinity for children and most dogs, but seems to prefer dogs her size and larger. She currently lives with 2 dogs, and spent time with another foster dog as well. She is the first to greet her dog family or people at the door with kisses – without barking. She would love a home where she can approach on her own terms. She has learned to behave on a leash, and knows sit, no, and wait. She loves laying in the sun and tummy rubs. For her final vaccination, she sat in the lap of the vet tech and was reported “wonderful”. She eats like a vacuum cleaner and cleans up any food that attempts to escape…. If she can push the bathroom open, she will supervise what ever is going on in there… Grace is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
