Story
GRRRR-eat!!!  Check out Tony the Tiger’s cousin Arlo!!  He’s always dressed and ready for Halloween in his handsome tiger-striped Tony the Tiger suit!  But seriously, look at this boy!  Look at those GORGEOUS markings that alludes to Boxer/Mountain Cur mix....especially with the docked tail!!  This boy has it all!  For starters, Arlo is great with other dogs!  He’s a little timid to be honest and not an ounce of dominant personality at all.  As for the cats, he seems to be good with them when he was introduced to some.  Arlo is a 2 year old, 70 pound, neutered boy who is UTD on his vaccines and on his preventatives!  He is well cared for by the rescue and his foster mom.  He is very gentle and would do well with dog savvy children.  He does well on a leash, but would be great with regular walks and outings.  His favorite thing to do is go riding in the car where he sits shotgun and he looks like a pro.  He adores watching the world go by fast and he enjoys the scenery with a big smile on his face.  This beautiful boy is ready to bless a forever family and to join in the fun during the holidays.  Please consider making him a true member of your family!  Just email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  ASAP! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 1, 2023, 9:36 am

Story
Hi, my name is Phoebe and ) My brother, sister and I were dumped on a random property in rural  Mississippi when we were only three months old.  Luckily, a nice lady who lived nearby heard us crying and took us in until she could figure out how to help us find a rescue to help us.  Then another nice lady saw our story on Facebook and came to pick us up to bring us back to her house in Franklin, TN so that she could work with Critter Cavalry to find good homes for us.  My brother has been adopted and my sister is with another foster family not too far away and I’m hanging out here in Franklin!  It’s kind of a mystery exactly what our mom and dad may have looked like...thought I'm a brindle, would you believe my siblings were all white?  Most people think we’re made up of Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd, and maybe a little Husky.  And because of my color, probably Mountain Cur.  I’m four months old and I weigh about 15 pounds and I have big feet.  I’ll probably be 50-60 pounds when I grow to be an adult.  My foster mom says I’m “all puppy”…full of energy and very playful!  She’s taken me to play with other dogs and I really love that!  There’s a cat in the house but she doesn’t seem to appreciate that I want to play with her (my foster mom says she doesn’t like anybody).  I know I’d be good with other cats!   I’m doing well with potty training and I sleep eight hours at night.  My foster mom says being mouthy to get attention,  is my biggest challenge, but she’s working with me to break that habit.  I love to run and play in the yard and I’m very inquisitive.  Since I have a lot of energy, I’d LOVE to find a family with other dogs or older children…or both!  I love to give hugs and kisses and I’m a very happy puppy!  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 1, 2023, 9:36 am

Story
Introducing Bindi 🩵 She is a mountain cur mix with a hint of hound-like charm. At 2-3 years old, Bindi's light brindle coat is a sight to behold, but it's her sweet nature that truly shines. She's not just a pretty face; she's well-behaved and housebroken, making her the ideal companion for any family. Bindi's social, getting along well with other dogs, but she's just as content being the center of attention in a one-dog household. Her crate training and leash-walking skills make her a breeze to handle. You can even take her on road trips as she rides in the car without a fuss. Bindi's affectionate soul extends to her foster family’s grandkids; she adores their company. She has never shown aggression towards cats, but she might bark at them through the fence, so it's best to supervise her around feline friends. Bindi is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, always ready to shower you with kisses and snuggles. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Bindi is your girl. Give her a chance, and you'll find a loving, four-legged family member who'll steal your heart. If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Eddy is quite a character. He is so animated. He enjoys sprinting around the yard. His feet seldom hit the ground. He is very food motivated. He is a sweet and happy boy. He has a cute little bobtail. Poor guy doesn't know what to do with toys. I don't believe he was ever an inside dog or that he was given the attention he so much desired. He has been vetted and neutered. Eddy would make a great hiking, jogging or walking partner.   Eddy is going to need a fenced yard to keep him safe.  If you are interested in Eddy, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 1, 2023, 11:07 am

Story
Her name is Talia, and she’s a 7-month-old Mountain Cur mix. She presently weighs 24 pounds and will grow to an adult size of 35-40 pounds.  If you look up her breed, you’ll find Talia’s characteristics reflect what her foster says.  She’s good with other dogs, kids, and also her cat.  Mountain Curs are also considered great companions and watch dogs.  This is a great breed!  And, of course, our Talia is the best of the best!  (posted 9/21/23, TN) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $375 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  November 30, 2023, 2:24 pm

She ended up giving the man $50 for him. He was very skinny and hot but other than that in good shape. He is 2 years old and now weighs a healthy 40 lbs. He is neutered, UTD on all required vaccines and HW negative. He is also microchipped. Quincy is the sweetest dog! He is house and crate trained and really is a wonderful companion dog, loving everyone he meets. he is also energetic and playful.
