Story
Coley ✨ The sweet girl is just over a year and has never met a stranger. Despite her background of being abandoned, tied to a guard rail on malfunction Junction in Birmingham and after it took her a minute to gain trust she now is humans best friend! In fact, she gets so excited she’ll forget her manners for a second and just wants to hug you. She would appreciate some help learning her manners. She’s your absolute shadow and very eager to please. She’s great with other dogs, has done doggy daycare and lives together with other pups all ages and sizes. Facts: 🐕Coley is about 50lb and should be full grown. ⛰️She’s friendly with kids and make a great family dog to and active family or young couple. 🐶 Coley would like another dog in the home but would be fine being the only child and getting all the attention too. Story
Introducing Bindi 🩵 She is a mountain cur mix with a hint of hound-like charm. At 2-3 years old, Bindi's light brindle coat is a sight to behold, but it's her sweet nature that truly shines. She's not just a pretty face; she's well-behaved and housebroken, making her the ideal companion for any family. Bindi's social, getting along well with other dogs, but she's just as content being the center of attention in a one-dog household. Her crate training and leash-walking skills make her a breeze to handle. You can even take her on road trips as she rides in the car without a fuss. Bindi's affectionate soul extends to her foster family’s grandkids; she adores their company. She has never shown aggression towards cats, but she might bark at them through the fence, so it's best to supervise her around feline friends. Bindi is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, always ready to shower you with kisses and snuggles. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Bindi is your girl. Give her a chance, and you'll find a loving, four-legged family member who'll steal your heart. Story
Hey there, I'm Remy, and I'm ready to bring some pawsitive vibes into your life! I've got a heart full of love and a wagging tail that's always ready to greet you. My days are spent eagerly waiting for the chance to make a new friend, and I can't wait to show you just how awesome I am. One thing you should know about me is that I'm a total people-person. Well, I guess in my case, it's a people-dog thing. I thrive on attention and human companionship, and I'm not shy about showing it. When I see you, get ready for a tail-wagging extravaganza and lots of joyful barks - I just can't contain my excitement! Oh, and belly rubs? They're my ultimate weakness. I'm not too proud to roll over and present my belly for some serious rub-a-dub time. It's like my personal happy place, and I promise it'll make you smile as much as it makes me happy. I'm not just a solo act, either. I've proven myself to be a star in the playgroup with my fellow FOHA pups. I'm all about making new canine buddies and sharing the fun. But you know what would really make me the happiest pup on the block? Finding my forever home - or even a cozy foster home where I can shower you with all the affection I've got stored up. If you swing by for a visit, you'll see firsthand the charm and charisma I bring to the table. So, what do you say? Let's make each other's days a whole lot brighter. Come on over, let's hang out, and I'll show you just how wonderful life with me, Remy, can be.

Story
Meet Pickles! This girl is definitely sweet and she is looking forward to finding her happily ever after and for now is enjoying her newfound freedom in her foster home! Pickles is a 7-month-old, 25lb. mixed breed girl who will likely be medium sized when full grown. She is learning all about life outside of a shelter so naturally may take some time to warm up, but she is loving her foster humans and dogs! She enjoys pets, scratches and will sit or lay close to her humans. She LOVES the 3 resident dogs and wants to play with them but is very respectful of them if they don't want to play. Pickles has been wonderful at adoption events and wants to meet everyone! Pickles is great on leash, loves food and treats and house trained. She is energetic, fast and smart and does enjoy napping where it is quiet. Pickles would love an active family and would prefer another confident active pup and a yard to run around in her new home. She would do best with someone who is home majority of the day since she is young, still learning. She can't wait to meet you! Pickles is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. The adoption fee for this dog is $350 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.
