Story
Meet Reba! Reba was living as a stray in Jellico along with Waylon for approx 3 yrs. Shes so glad to be in rescue w creature comforts and regular meals. Very affectionate and grateful little girl! Reba loves car rides, leash walks and a chance to run and play. She lives a comfy bed! Shes housebroken and crate trained. She will need a fence higher than 4 feet tall. Reba loves Waylon and would like to adopt with him but would prefer more to have a home with people who love and adore her. She has successfully completed her heartworm treatment and is on preventative. Shes been spayed (previously had at least 3 litters with Waylon). Brown dogs traditionally have a hard time adopting and this girl has so much love to give. Would you consider giving her a home? Please contact us at lifelongbuddies01@gmail.com

Story
I know this isn’t going to be a typical adopt a pet request, and if I can’t post something like this here then I can take it down. But giving my girl away is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to come to terms with and I’d like to make a request. I’m looking for someone who might be willing to help me keep her by taking care of her temporarily while I work to get back on my feet. Perhaps 2-3 months, maybe more. I adopted Cinderella in March of 2023 when she was 4 months old. She has been my constant companion since. But it's been a tough year financially and I’m having a hard time taking care of her exercise and outdoor needs while working the amount that I need to to get back on my feet. I'm just at the end of my rope about what to do about it. If you would be willing at all, please reach out. I will provide all of her food, treats, toys, vet visits, etc, and would be willing to offer some compensation on the other side of it. She is trained and would do best with a fenced in yard.

Story
I have been at the SPCA for over 500 days, so my adoption fee has been waived!!! So there is no charge to adopt her.I came to SPCA in July of 2022 and have been living here for over 600 days.Meet Pigeon, a survivor with a heart of gold. This beautiful mixed-breed female was rescued from a hoarding situation, where she endured unimaginable conditions. Despite her rough start in life, Hope has shown incredible resilience and a capacity for love that knows no bounds.Initially shy and timid around new people, Pigeon takes her time warming up to unfamiliar faces. But for those patient enough to earn her trust, they'll discover a loyal and affectionate companion like no other. Once she forms a bond, Hope's gentle nature shines through, and she becomes a steadfast friend who will stand by your side through thick and thin.Pigeon's journey to recovery hasn't been easy, but she's made remarkable progress during her time at the shelter. She's proven herself to be incredibly resilient and has blossomed into a confident and loving dog, especially when surrounded by those she knows and trusts. Her transformation is a testament to the power of love and compassion, and she serves as an inspiration to all who meet her.Despite her shyness around strangers at first, Pigeon is a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs. She thrives in the company of her canine companions, and her playful antics and gentle demeanor make her a favorite among her furry friends.Despite her incredible progress and lovable personality, Pigeon remains a long-term resident at the shelter, having spent over 600 days waiting for her forever home. But for the lucky individual or family willing to open their hearts to this special girl, the rewards will be immeasurable. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will fill your life with joy and companionship, look no further than Pigeon. Come meet her today and be prepared to fall in love with this remarkable survivor Patience, realistic expectations and a good match in a home environment are the keys to success! I am lost and looking for my family! I came in as a stray without identification so I'm on hold until 5/2 in order to give my owner time to find me. You can visit the shelter and meet with me and become a Potential Adopter should my owner not come get me, but I'm not available to go home just yet. As always, introductions to existing family members should be done slowly and over time. Our adoptions team will give you suggestions on how to introduce your new family member! Visit anytime! The Adoption Center is open Tuesday-Saturday from 12pm-5pm. Appointments are not required for adoptions! Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: Brown Brindle Weight: 46.8 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks
