Hi! My name is Jekyll and I'm an energetic puppy who's excited about everything. I love other dogs and cats but I don't think they like me as much as I like them. I'm just so excited to see them! And I want to play! Playing is my favorite. I love to fetch tennis balls and be chased around the yard. I have a lot toys and playing tug of war is the best. I'm still trying to figure out what I am and am not allowed to put my mouth on, but I'm learning! My foster mom says I'm in my "terrible twos," but I'm not even one yet so I don't know WHAT she's talking about. I mean, I'm practically a champion walker! I walked all crazy ziggy-zaggy at first but now walks with me are a breeze. I never have potty accidents, and I also know how to sit, lay down, wait, and leave it. Waiting is really hard because everything is so exciting, but I'll do it because I want to make you happy. I need lots of exercise to get my wiggles out so it would be great if my forever family liked to do fun stuff outside a lot. My foster family found me near their house where I was trying to play with cars(they do not play nicely) so I'm happy that I'm safe and secure now. What do you say, can I be your adventure buddy? She greets you by calmly sitting at her kennel door, making it easy to leash her up. Out on walks, she’s a dream: no pulling on the leash, just happy to stroll by your side. She has a low to medium energy level so she`s mostly calm and easygoing but lights up when squeaky toys are involved! She’ll happily entertain herself with them, but she’s polite about letting you take them back when playtime is over. Kira enjoys attention, loves being pet, and takes treats gently from your hand.
