Story
She was a stray that just ran up to our porch one afternoon. She is beautiful and fiercely loyal even though she had just met us. She sleeps on the floor right next to me in bed, even if the only thing she has to sleep on is the shirt I threw on the floor before bed (We have several dog beds laying around the room). When any of us are in the shower, she lays down on the floor right outside shower. Somebody trained her. Sit, Laydown, Shake, even "Go somewhere else," and she will leave the room. She obediently fetches and returns. Someone trained this dog. Maybe to hunt or something. She CANNOT SWIM however, at least in our pool. But, she loves to RUN!!! The problem is, we had four dogs (and two cats) prior to Bella. Bella and Phoebe do not get along. We don't know why, and sometimes it is hard to tell who starts what, but they do not get along. Bella gets along fine with the cats too. Bella is a bright star, but she belongs in a home where she is the only star.

ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Puppy Policies: We do not adopt puppies under 6 months of age into apartment homes or homes without a fenced yard. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. Cheyenne is one sweet girl who loves attention! Chin scratches are at the top of her “favorites” list as you can see. She arrived from the Laredo shelter where she shared a kennel with Hammy who also joined RT4P. So far we know she likes other dogs and kids! She is potty trained and has already conquered the doggie door. She does really well in her crate too … she is only 8 months old after all so we think she is doing great Like all puppies, Cheyenne needs an adopter who is willing to train and work with her to help her be the best dog she can be. Story
Meet Darlin (Ivey) Sweet Darlin has already shown incredible resilience in her young life. After being adopted from a shelter, this precious girl was failed by her adopters and left to fend for herself on the streets, where she was found half starved and desperately in need of help. Despite what she's been through, Darlin's spirit isn't broken—she's just learning to trust again. With patience and kindness, she's discovering that not all humans will let her down. When she finds the right person, someone who will show her the love and stability she deserves, Darlin will bond quickly and deeply. The good news? Darlin comes with skills that show she once had proper care. She's crate trained, potty trained, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She's ready to be someone's loyal companion—she just needs that special someone to give her the second chance she deserves. If you have room in your heart and home for a dog who will appreciate you every single day, Darlin might just be your perfect match.
