Story
She is a good puppy. She is just really too big for my small children and the baby we are about to have. She needs a bigger home with someone with a lot of time to just her. She is potty trained and crate trained. She does not walk on a leash very well and just has a ton of energy all day. We just thought we could keep her but with our kids and the new baby it really is just to much. We want her to have a good home where someone can spend all their time focused on helping her be the best dog she can be. Also not sure what kind of dog she is we just know she is a mixed breed.

Story
Xuxa (pronounced shoo-sha) came into my life in 2016. I fell in love with her from the first picture I saw of her online from the shelter. She was a "lonely heart," having been in the shelter for more than 30 days. The shelter did not know her exact age, but they predicted she was 2 years old. Since I adopted her in August, she just celebrated her 12th birthday this year. As a senior dog, Xuxa likes her walks outside of the midday sun and her plentiful rest, lounging around the house or napping in her bed. But don't let the old age fool you! The word "walk" gets her going. She loves to cuddle and try to fit on your lap. With age, her health has declined. She has lipomas on her body, she suffers from incontinence, and she had an injured CCL last year. These are things to consider if she is a good fit for your family.

Lilly is a sweet, loyal, and wonderfully quirky girl who loves being part of the family. She does great with kids and other animals, learns quickly, and is always excited to see her people. She loves going for walks, and will happily eat just about anything. She has a big personality and a lot of love to give, and we’re hoping to find her a home where she’ll be loved just as much as she loves her family. She is kennel trained and potty trained! We also have Lilly’s DNA results! We will be happy to share them with you so you know what all she is mixed with! Upon adoption we will provide her kennel, food bowl, a bag of her food and her toys!

Story
Mildred was left behind in an empty house after her owner moved. Needless to say, she was starved for food and affection. She's a beautiful, smart pup, about 1.5 years old. One of her defining features is her long ears which point straight up and cross over her head...absolutely adorable! She'd make a great gal pal:) Mildred can understandably get a little territorial over her food, but she's a smart pup--one correction from her owner (I used a quick spray from a water bottle) is all it takes for her to correct her behavior. Mildred loves to run and play and is a huge cuddle bug. She's ready to crawl up into just about any lap for love and affection-- not realizing she's a little big for a lap dog:) Mildred plays really well with male dogs but can get a little testy around other females. She'd do best as an only dog or in a household with only male dogs.
