Story
Xuxa (pronounced shoo-sha) came into my life in 2015 when I adopted her from a shelter in Mississippi. Now 12 years old, she's a healthy 85-pound Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull mix who has been a loving part of my family for 11 years.Xuxa is a sweet, gentle, low-energy girl who enjoys walks, cuddles, pets, and naps in her bed. She is house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. She does well with adults and children, although supervision is important due to her size. She is curious about cats but is best suited to a home without other dogs.I sadly cannot bring Xuxa with me as I move overseas. I want to find her a safe, loving home where she can enjoy her senior years in comfort and security. Xuxa has some age-related health concerns, including urinary incontinence, which is managed with Proin each morning, as well as several large fatty lumps on her body. Last year, she also injured the cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) in her right hind leg.

Oreo is a great dog. He really is. He is super friendly. He just needs a bigger yard. With bigger fences. I would nothing more than to keep him he is just able to jump my fence with the way the house is set. He is kid friendly and loves scratches.

Mildred was left behind in an empty house after her owner moved. Needless to say, she was starved for food and affection. She's a beautiful, smart pup, about 1.5 years old. One of her defining features is her long ears which point straight up and cross over her head...absolutely adorable! She'd make a great gal pal:) Mildred can understandably get a little territorial over her food, but she's a smart pup--one correction from her owner (I used a quick spray from a water bottle) is all it takes for her to correct her behavior. Mildred loves to run and play and is a huge cuddle bug. She's ready to crawl up into just about any lap for love and affection-- not realizing she's a little big for a lap dog:) Mildred plays really well with male dogs but can get a little testy around other females. She'd do best as an only dog or in a household with only male dogs.
