Story
Bruiser is 7yo, 67 lbs, neutered & vaccinated. His rehome is due to humans death, not any behavior or care concerns on his part. Bruiser has not had any previous experience with children or cats. He does live with another dog, but would probably love to retire in more peace and quiet. He has a sweet demeanor naturally and loves a soft spot to curl up. He certainly still has verve, but is mostly a cuddly couch potato looking for a potato partner to share space with! He is a superchewer when given toys or treats, but has not demonstrated any destructive behaviors towards non-sanctioned items. When left without humans in the foster home during the work day he has just slept the entire time. He came from a loving home with a big yard, but didn't necessarily get a lot of training on leash walking or commands, so those are some things he's working on in foster care. He could be an easy fit into someone's life and foster is willing to transport for the right adopter.

Story
Lady is 3 yo, weighs 61 lbs, spayed & vaccinated. Rehome is due to owner deaths, not behavior or care concerns on her part. She is eager to please, so a quick learner. She was in a loving home with a big yard previously, but not trained on things like leash walking, many commands, or games/tricks. She is just getting started on learning some of those in foster care, and is really loving food puzzles. She gets startled easily, but is easy to comfort/rebounds quickly. She has a sweet & gentle demeanor. She has never had any experience or exposure with children or cats. She does live in a home with another dog, but she would thrive as an only child - where she could get all of your attention, learn games & get tons of snuggles. She is a real sweetheart & well-behaved on her own. With time & attention she has potential to be an exceptionally skilled and obedient pup. She has not demonstrated any destructive behaviors in foster care. Willing to transport for the right adopter!

Story
We found Hugo on the side of the road near our home about two months ago. He was bitten up, emaciated, and full of worms. Unfortunately, the only shelter near our home is a kill-shelter - that wasn't an option. Over the last few months, he's recovered fully and is ready for his permanent home. Over the past two months, we've taken him for regular visits to our vet. He has been neutered, chipped, and is up to date on his vaccines. We also paid to have our vet repair his little belly button hernia. Hugo's estimated age is six to seven months old right now. We currently have four dogs that we've rescued, and our home is too small for another large breed dog. We've been unsuccessful locally finding him a new home. We're trying to find Hugo his new permanent home. We're willing to travel a significant distance to deliver him to a new good home.

Story
Winnie is a whirlwind of joy wrapped in fur! She’s energetic, playful, and absolutely adores kids. Equal parts athlete and cuddle bug, she’s convinced she’s a lap dog—no matter her size. She gets along great with other dogs but would prefer a home without small animals such as cats. We need to rehome her as we have two cats and even when she’s in the crate she gets aggressive towards them. Winnie is crate trained and comfortable in her crate, and while she’s still learning housebreaking, she just needs a patient family to help her along. Winnie greets everyone with full-body excitement—expect wiggles and happy jumps! She’s leash trained, loves walks, and is clever enough to climb chain-link fences when she wants to explore her surroundings. Car rides aren’t her favorite yet, but she’s working on it. Goofy, affectionate, and full of life, Winnie is ready to love, play, and snuggle her way into the right family’s heart. 💛

Story
Sara is a great dog. My sister loved her with all her heart. Unfortunately my sister lost her battle with cancer and I cannot take the dog as they are not allowed where I live. Sara is all bark and no bite. She barks at first but as soon as you live on her she just wants to cuddle and play.

Story
Pickles is a lovable 5-year-old neutered mixed-breed who has been with me since he was found as a stray puppy in March 2020. He grew up on a large farm with plenty of space, but I recently moved to an apartment. He has been staying with my sister in her small backyard, and he needs more room and attention than we can give. He has started getting out of the fence and tearing things up from boredom. Pickles is sweet, people-oriented, great with kids, and gentle with other animals. He is a sensitive, slightly shy dog who gets excited easily but has a very soft, affectionate temperament. He thrives with calm voices, patience, and a predictable routine. Pickles does best with a fenced yard because he’s nervous on a leash and still building confidence. He is healthy, neutered, and looking for a home that can give him the space, reassurance, and love he deserves.
