Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We have had Simba since he is a puppy and he is doggy door trained. He would be best suited as a one dog household or with medium to bigger dogs to play with. We have had some behavioral issues with Simba biting our little Chihuahua and cat. And being 90% Chihuahua he likes to nip at new guests in our house. Once he gets to know them he is fine but as a household of 5 with 3 boys we have new people coming in/out daily and it's too much risk. He is a great companion and wants to be a lap dog if he could. This is a very hard decision for our family so we hope to find a good home for him.

We received Mouse as a puppy from a friend in 2021. She is an albino pit mix, maybe a little dalmation in there. She is a nanny dog to children. Loves to play. Still likes to chew on toys and squeakers. She prefers to sleep with the kids, but if a door is left open, she might have an accident in the house overnight. Whines if you try to crate her.

At 2 years old, she is still full of energy and loves to play with toys. She especially likes flat acorn-shaped plush toys. She is crate trained.

Story
Hello this is Kono! He is 6 years old and was adopted from Helen Woodward Animal center outside of Del Mar, California. He was adopted during Covid while my wife and I were living in an apartment. We then moved back to Arizona in 2023 to another home without a backyard. He is a very curious dog by nature and is perfectly with other dogs or by himself. His favorite thing to do is to be outside and unfortunately he can only go outside before and after my wife get off work due to our schedules. He is a very sweet boy and likes to cuddle and is also fine being left alone to do his own thing, he is very low maintenance. My wife and I are looking for a home for him that allows him to have more attention and with a reasonable backyard so he can thrive

Story
Jenny was found outside my work place. We named her Jenny. I brought her home got her shots. Was advised she is about 1.5 years old. She get along great with my two large dogs. She is high energy and needs room to run. We live in a rental with no fenced back yard and we already have two large dogs, which are allowed with a pet deposit. She loves attention, likes to be outside playing with a ball or simply running back and forth. We have to put her on a chain when she goes outside and it’s not fair as the other dogs get to run free because they come back. Hope she finds a furever home soon.

Story
This is Piper! I found her on the side of the road in the beginning of August. She seemed healthy, was recently spayed, but had no microchip. We brought her home, cleaned her up, and made her comfy. She gets along wonderfully with my 3 bigger dogs. We would keep her because she’s so sweet but we don’t have space for a 4th dog. She’s wicked smart, working on potty training, and is a lover girl ! The rehoming fee is just to make sure she goes to a good home:)

Story
Meet Tano! Tano is a wonderful, loyal, and highly intelligent dog with a heart as big as his frame — he is slightly larger than a Standard Poodle, with a gentle, watchful presence that makes you feel safe and calm the moment you meet him. Tano's journey to the Rescue House is one of love and loss. His family was deported, and through no fault of his own, this devoted companion lost the only home he had ever known. But Tano's spirit remains bright, and he is ready to pour all that love into a new family who will cherish him. Tano is the definition of a one-person dog — in the best possible way. He bonds deeply with his person and stays focused on them, following you everywhere, even to the bathroom, just to be near. He loves being petted and will rest contentedly on the floor beside you while you work. But his devotion does not mean he is shy or fearful. Tano greets new people with quiet confidence, saying hello to women and some men in public — he has a natural gift for reading people's vibes and deciding who feels trustworthy. He is never aggressive, just thoughtful. One of Tano's most remarkable qualities is his training. He has been actively working as a service dog in training and excels at it. He walks beautifully on a leash beside you without pulling, settles calmly on the floor while you are seated or working, and demonstrates the patience, focus, and steadiness that make an outstanding service or emotional support dog. Whether you need a companion for anxiety support, mobility assistance, or simply a deeply loyal friend, Tano has the temperament for it. Tano is also wonderfully adaptable to daily life. He rides well in the car and is a perfect gentleman at the office — he will settle in and not have a single accident all day. He does need a yard at home to go to the bathroom comfortably, though he can manage on a leash when truly necessary. He is house-trained, well-mannered, and eager to please. Tano is looking for a forever home where he can be someone's devoted partner. He would thrive with a person who works from home or can bring him along to the office, someone who appreciates a dog who is always there for them — steady, loving, and loyal to the core. If you are looking for a best friend who will follow you everywhere, rest beside you while you work, and give you his whole heart, Tano is your man. Come meet Tano. He is ready to be yours.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained,
Story
Scrappy was born and raised in Arizona. He is a sweet little dog with a fun loving personality. He loves all people and wants all the pets he can possibly get. Unfortunately, after raising him for 5 years, our new work schedule does not allow us to give them the time and attention he needs and deserves. We are also moving to a home that does not have a yard. They spent most of their life running around outside and need a home they can do the same. Since he spent his time outdoors growing up, he only recently finished potty training. He loves cuddles and to play with his little stuffies. He is not fixed but only just out of date for his shots. He is a great dog and we just want to find a home where he can have the better life he deserves.

Story
Meet Chiwi, an exceptionally sweet pup ready to leave her past behind and find her forever family. Despite being left at a veterinary clinic through no fault of her own, Chiwi hasn’t let a rough start dim her loving spirit. About Chiwi Chiwi is a gentle soul whose resilient heart shines through the moment you greet her. She holds no grudges about where she came from and instead focuses entirely on making human friends. Whether curled up by your side or greeting you with a wagging tail, Chiwi brings warmth and comfort wherever she goes. Personality and Daily Life Chiwi thrives on simple everyday pleasures and quiet companionship. Enjoys gentle strolls, exploring the neighborhood at an easy pace. Ideal Forever Home Because Chiwi was abandoned, she will flourish best in a nurturing environment that offers patience and plenty of reassurance. A committed adopter who will remind her daily that she is safe and cherished. A calm household that allows her time to decompress and settle into her new life.
