Angel is a spayed female German Shepherd mix who turns 4 on October 23. She is loving, energetic, playful, protective, and extremely cuddly with people and dogs she trusts. She is house-trained, vaccinated, has no known medical issues, and knows commands in English, German, and some Japanese. Angel loves car rides, adventures, affection, and toys—especially Lamb Chop and large squeaky KONG tennis balls. She is expressive: when excited, she dances and clacks her teeth, finds you when she needs something, goes to the door when she needs out, and loves to “talk.” Angel has made canine friends and can do well with other dogs, but has also had incidents involving other dogs. Given that history and her high energy, she would be best as an only dog or potentially with a calm, patient dog after careful introductions. She is temporarily staying with family and needs a permanent home or foster by October 7. We are seeking a safe, loving home with activity, affection, and structure.

Story
She is a very loyal dog and super sweet but unfortunately is not good with small children and some strangers. She just turned 2 in August. She loves to give love and lick you and jump (although we have been working on that). She is crate trained and fully potty trained. She knows all basic commands like sit, stay, and you can put her on an object like her bed, couch or where you want her to sleep or stay and if you say “place” she will go to it. She also comes with free training for life through Off Leash K9, she has a trainer she has been working with in Mesa but they also have different locations across the Valley. She does shed but with proper brushing and taking her to the groomer every other month she is ok as she is short haired. She is fully vaccinated. She has experience being in doggie daycare at dogtopia so she can be social with other dogs when properly introduced.

We took in Mowgli in from a family who could not care for him anymore and are now trying to find him his forever home. He is potty trained, doesn’t chew and excellent with our children. I am unsure what his breed is and he is around the age 1-2. Mowgli is not adjusting well with our 2 dogs preferably an only dog household.

Nickname, Maki. This dog was taken off a kill list in the shelter and hes very loving sweet boy. He's very protective of his house and very loving with kids, gets along w dogs and cats but needs high energy house that will keep up w his energy. He loves walking and playing. Unfortunately my house, everyone is working 12hr shift 6days and we all are unable to care for his needs. We need to rehome him to a home where a high energy family w time can take care of this sweet boy. He deserves a chance at life. I dont want to return him to shelter because he will be put back on a kill list because he was not adopted due to high energy and behavior in shelter.

Hi there, I am about to lose my elder dog and I also have extreme health issues that have put me through financial issues and I don’t believe I can care for her anymore. My older dog she has been around two years since I got her from shelter, she seems to love other dogs companies. She’s extremely sweet, I just can’t get another dog once my older one passes and I don’t know how much more time I have as well. I really need her to go to a loving home. She is very nice, her only issue is marking, she does well in a kennel I just tend to give her free rein. She really only marks on rugs when unattended. She’s very well behaved and potty trained otherwise. She’s not huge on getting picked up, she takes a minute to trust, but she loves all animals and females or males. This is the last thing I want to do but I can’t risk myself going unexpectedly and having no family take her in. I would rather prepare for worst and make sure she is loved like she deserves

Scrappy was born and raised in Arizona. He is a sweet little dog with a fun loving personality. He loves all people and wants all the pets he can possibly get. Unfortunately, after raising him for 5 years, our new work schedule does not allow us to give them the time and attention he needs and deserves. We are also moving to a home that does not have a yard. They spent most of their life running around outside and need a home they can do the same. Since he spent his time outdoors growing up, he only recently finished potty training. He loves cuddles and to play with his little stuffies. He is not fixed but only just out of date for his shots.
