This adorable girl showed up on our doorstep after a storm a few weeks ago. Not micro chipped. posted her on multiple sites for a couple weeks. Knowing I planned on adopting a senior rescue in a few years, my family wanted me to keep her.She is super sweet and loves to cuddle in the mornings, she’s not a morning person! She definitely has spurts of puppy energy. But we have lots of toys, go on walks, or play in the backyard now that the weather is a little nicer. Once she gets all her wiggles out, she’s more than happy to just crawl up on the couch and take a nap.She sleeps all night in her crate and goes in when I need to run errands with little resistance. She is potty trained as long as you see she’s at the back door. We are working on notification, but it is not mastered yet! if you are looking for a puppy, but don’t want to have to do the potty training, leash work, etc, then she is for you. A puppy just is not conducive to my life at this stage, but she is meant for a loving home

Baker is a wonderful dog. He is very loving and wonderful with my grandkids. He loves to play and loves to run. He’s 5 1/2 years old. He has one problem. Unless he knows the dogs when I’m taking him for a walk, he will react. I am 77 years old and an unable to hold back He barks at them and wants to run up to them, but will not bite. I have been working with a trainer for months. I have been knocked over twice. He needs a place with a yard and someone who will work with him when taking him for a walk. He’s a good dog and I want to see him go to a home that will love him as much as I do

Angel is a spayed female German Shepherd mix who turns 4 on October 23. She is loving, energetic, playful, protective, and extremely cuddly with people and dogs she trusts. She is house-trained, vaccinated, has no known medical issues, and knows commands in English, German, and some Japanese. Angel loves car rides, adventures, affection, and toys—especially Lamb Chop and large squeaky KONG tennis balls. She is expressive: when excited, she dances and clacks her teeth, finds you when she needs something, goes to the door when she needs out, and loves to “talk.” Angel has made canine friends and can do well with other dogs, but has also had incidents involving other dogs. Given that history and her high energy, she would be best as an only dog or potentially with a calm, patient dog after careful introductions. She is temporarily staying with family and needs a permanent home or foster by October 7. We are seeking a safe, loving home with activity, affection, and structure.

We got Zuko from High Country Humane when he was only 2 months old. He is now 1 year old and weighs about 65 pounds. Zuko is a high-energy, very strong, and playful dog who would do best with someone who has plenty of space for him to run and play. Zuko is very sweet and affectionate, but he can get overly excited. He is potty trained and crate trained, and he absolutely loves going on car rides. He is very playful and can be a big scaredy-cat when he is in new or unfamiliar situations. Because of his size and energy, his play can sometimes be rough, as he doesn’t always realize how big or strong he is. Zuko is also very vocal, especially when he doesn’t get his way, but it’s one of the things that makes his personality so special. Overall, he is a very good boy with a lot of love and personality to give. He would benefit from someone who has the time, space, patience, and experience to continue working with him and help him learn how to manage his excitement and energy.
