Story
It is heartbreaking for us to consider rehoming Anya. She’s a sweet, playful dog and we have loved her since she was a tiny puppy. She is trained and easy to clean. Anya loves walks, hikes, fetch and cuddles. If you have a ball thrower, she will fetch forever. She loves our two young kids and our elderly cat, who is blind and sometimes walks into her. Anya would really thrive with people who are active and can provide a substantial yard for her to play in. And she is crate-trained. After years of living together amicably, Anya and our other dog got in a serious fight while we were away and a family member was watching them. We don’t know what caused the fight, but now they simply cant be left together unsupervised in our yard or they will fight. Anya is the bigger and stronger of the two dogs, so she has avoided any serious injury, and she would be happier as an only dog.

Story
We found Kona in the pound in Tracy, CA in August, 2019. She was about 9 months old, with two previous owners. She had been dodging animal control for five days in Tracy before they caught her and brought her to the pound. She didn't have any signs of abuse, although she was pretty skinny (probably from running on the street for days). She immediately laid on her back and wagged her tail when we approached her. Very shy, easily startled, very sweet. Now she's about 5, and she has gained weight and confidence, very athletic, super smart, not very food motivated (hard for training), really just wants affection and love. She's a good dog, which is why this is hard. But since then, we've had 3 kids, and while she's AMAZING with our kids, she's super defensive towards anybody else. She'll warm up to people eventually, but initial contact is always a struggle. She gets way less exercise now, which we feel bad about. Hoping she finds a home where she can run outside more!

We are looking for a loving home for our dog Otis, who we adopted in 2018 as a puppy. Otis is a great dog and part of our family. Unfortunately with multiple young kids and full-time jobs, we are unable to give Otis the time and attention he deserves. Otis is loving, energetic and great with our children. He is up to date with all vaccinations and crate trained. Thank you for considering giving Otis a loving home. Someone will be very lucky to benefit from his endless appetite for hikes/walks, affectionate licks, and love of a good head scratch and belly rub. Two small scared dogs abandoned by their owners are asking for a better life. I don't know what breed they are. Their owners moved out without telling anyone they were leaving their dogs. They are best friend and need to stay together. They have lots of energy and love to go on walks. I have been providing the dogs food and water until they find their forever home. Story
This dog is so cute she stops people in their tracks. She is a perfect size (19 pounds). She is young and smart. Very sweet temperament, picks up training lessons quickly, is very sensitive to your cues, and affectionate - likes to lay by you on the couch. Also likes to play with toys and fetch. Crate trained. Potty trained. I let her out several times a day to a fenced area and also take her on walks and hikes and running errands. Walks reasonably well on a leash but could use reminders to stay on your left side (using kibble for training). She was rescued from a shelter. I have had her only a few weeks. and I am rehoming her because it is not working with my cats and my other rescue dog (the combination of the two young dogs chasing the cats is not good for anyone). She is a people-oriented dog and bonds quickly, likes children and other dogs but would also do well as a solo dog. Looking for a great home for her. Adoption fee covers my vet expenses and will provide record.

Story
Joonie is a wonderful dog. She loves other dogs of all sizes and is great with kids of all ages. It took us almost one year to realize that my daughter is allergic to her, and by that time we loved her and figured we could manage the allergies. It has progressively gotten harder and her allergies have gotten even worse, so we are sadly forced to have to rehome her.
