Hi everyone, I'm rehoming this sweet girl for my grandparents. She was going to be euthanized so they took her in but they are at a point where they can't take care of her and I want to make sure she is well taken care of. She's really sweet and gentle, but does have a tendency to run out the door so you have to be mindful about that. She's a mix so I'm not exactly sure what breed she is but she's calm and loves being around her people.

Story
Benny is a 9-year-old Pit Bull/Labrador mix who has been a cherished member of our family for the past three years after we adopted him from a local shelter. He is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. Benny is incredibly gentle, rarely barks, doesn't jump on people, and has a calm, laid-back personality. He loves to cuddle, enjoys being around his people, and is affectionate with everyone he meets. He is house-trained, does all of his potty business outside, and is perfectly comfortable being left home alone for several hours. Benny does have skin allergies that require medication. Unfortunately, the cost of his ongoing medications and the veterinary care he currently needs has become more than our family can afford. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we want to do what's best for him and find a family who can provide the medical care he deserves. He does shed, but his loving temperament, easygoing nature, and wonderful manners make him an amazing companion.

Story
Bailey is a loving dog. We got him when he was about a year old and have had him for about 5 years. He is very playful and affectionate. He plays well with our other dog but has shown some anxiety towards or neighbors big dogs. We would love to keep him but after having our first child he has shown a hard transition to the change in the home. He has always done well with my young siblings but he has started to show aggression towards my toddler. I believe he would do best in a home with no kids or older kids. He also developed a fear for fireworks. He is a healthy boy, but does have anxiety towards fireworks and the vet. He requires medication to help him calm for vet visits. Other than that he is a very loving dog. He just needs more attention and for my son’s safety he unfortunately needs a new home.

Nakoa was found on the streets, a rough start he definitely didn’t deserve, but he’s settling into foster life and showing everyone just how lovable he is. Nakoa is a social boy who gets along with the dogs he meets. He’s submissive and has shown no resource guarding over food or toys. He’s still figuring out how to navigate the world around him, and with his enthusiasm for life comes plenty of excitement! Nakoa is working on his excitability and leash manners, so he’ll benefit from continued training, consistency, and someone willing to help him channel all that puppy energy into good habits. He’s also a total goofball with a lot to say. Nakoa is a classic talkative Husky, always ready to “discuss” his opinions with an ah-woo or two whenever the mood strikes. Between the talking, the fluff, and his playful, silly personality, he’s hard not to fall for. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, dog-friendly Husky who will keep you laughing and bring plenty of energy to your days, Nakoa might just be your guy! He’s still learning his manners, but with patience, guidance, and lots of love, he’s ready to keep growing into the best version of himself. ❤️

My neighbor died recently and her family is back east. Two of us are feeding and walking Shiloh with her family's permission. He lived with her and another dog. When the 3 were discovered during a wellness check, my neighbor and her other elderly dog were very close to death. She died that night at the hospital and animal control took the other dog, who was likely euthanized out of mercy. The house is not habitable. However, Shiloh was well fed and cared for - very fancy fresh food. He's justifiably stressed. His whole life has been upended with people coming and going to clean out the house. We can't take him into our homes b/c he isn't good with other dogs or men. But likes his crate. Will hop in a car. Will walk on leash. TIMID. Good with women, not men. This all happened in last 5 days so the situation's very new. Needs an experienced dog owner - herding mix. We'd love to find him a great home or foster with an experienced owner willing to go slow/train.

Hello - I'm helping a family who no longer has time for Coach. Coach is 23 months old, weighs approximately 55 lbs, doesn't shed, and is a beautiful tri-color. He has basic training; he is house-trained and crate-trained. He has never socialized with people or other animals, so I don't think he will do well with pets. I think he would do well in a home with no other animals, no kids, and with someone who is home most of the day. Bernedoodles are affectionate and loyal, but sometimes it takes them a while to warm up to strangers. He needs someone to give him the love and attention he deserves.
